The hotel was perfect. The room was very clean and the staff were exceptional. Access to the health club (pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steamer), separate to the spa, was included in our stay and it was amazing after a long walk in the Lake District. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

Liked everything about this hotel...set in beautiful surroundings, staff were friendly and efficient. Room was lovely , clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and was buffet, self service. They accept pets at an extra £10.
I was offered use of the hotel pool but had forgotten my bathing suit so didnt use this facility but would in future. Didnt eat dinner in the hotel but can recommend the Pheasant Inn which isnt too far away from the hotel.

The location was perfect with everything within a short walk. Would defiantly book here again. Everybody in the hotel and the town in general was very friendly and welcoming.
With incredible mountain views, this traditional, family-owned guest accommodation has a real log fire and wooden beams in its cosy bar and restaurant.
Spark Bridge is a lovely, quiet place. It has a river running through the Hamlet and woodland. Perfect for a good night's sleep. We ate at The Royal Oak pub every night we were there because the food was excellent and the staff were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are a credit to the owners. They are exceptionally dog friendly. We will definitely return. Easy access to all areas of The Lake District. We have stayed many times in The Lakes and consider The Royal Oak to be the best.

It is in a very quiet and secluded location.
It is in a very quiet and secluded location. However the saniflow system in the room is like someone is using an electric drill. And you can hear everyone else's saniflow systems go off in the night.
The room was like a sauna. And the shower had two settings. Lava hot or Ice cold. I kid you not.
It took us forever to check in. At breakfast, no-one was there. When I chased up the lady in the kitchen - rather than just apologise, she chose to pick an argument with me about when she was last down to check the breakfast area.
However, the breakfast was rather tasty.
