The St. Nicholas House was well situated for our means. The house is full of original character, our King Room and en-suite were very spacious and comfortable. The bed was enormous and very comfy. The breakfast was excellent. The owners couldn't do enough for us, they were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Lots of things to do in Spalding, walking along beside the river, visiting Museums and parks like Ayscoughfee Hall. A fun place for adults and children, with no admission charges. Was only there for one evening. Drove in the short distance to buy an evening meal at Wetherspoons. Driving out noted sainsbury's and Lidl. Needed a few bits in the morning so purchased from there as leaving. Friendly place. Pubs, food outlets and supermarkets in very small centre.

We went for the newly revived Flower Parade that was fun and quaint in a way that only the British can manage - delightful. Any other time Spalding would be a very average town with nothing special to recommend it unless the location fits your needs

Spalding is a quiet little market town with most of the basic things you need - it's best to stay close to the centre as everything closes early.
The surrounding countryside is lovely (as with most places in Lincolnshire) - there's a Water Taxi (though I haven't used it yet) which takes you from one end of the town to the next.
It's mostly clean (compared to the big cities anyway) and the people are friendly (though some locals beg to differ...)

I don't usually leave reviews, but after staying at Sunrise stable, I felt I had to write one. The place is really nice and located in really great and relaxing area. The comfort and cleanliness was 10/10. I was attending University study week at Holbeach campus and usually would get for a hotel but I am so glad I did not. Regardless of if you are on business trip or holiday break, I highly recommend Sunrise stable! I really don't know why would someone choose hotel over this.
the hotel is fantastic, it was very easy to get the key from outside. We arrived around 12am so there was no one around, but we called the receptionist in the afternoon and she told us how to get the keys. Everything was ok. The room was very nice, the bathroom was amazing. In the morning we spoke to two ladies both very friendly, we had a very good English breakfast at 9.40 and the kitchen closed at 10am so all the staff was very available.
The place is very clean, and modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. The communication was great and super easy and the host was very hospitable. The whole place made us feel at ease. The neighbourhood is very conveniently located, near shops and a children 's park close by. Would absolutely recommend staying there when in Spalding.
breakfast was very good we also had evening meal which was also very good large room large comfortable bed very clean room very nice owners and staff could not be more helpful or pleasant most enjoyable stay at this hotel can fully recommend we were both more than happy with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again many thanks
The hotel was located in a good position for where we needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable. I requested a low floor with walk in shower due to my wife recently having a new hip fitted, this was granted. There was enough tea, coffee and milk. Receptionist was very polite and helpful when booking in.
The hotel is well located just off of the Spalding ring road near a shopping centre with restaurants and bars. It has plenty of free parking. The courtesy beverages in the room include bottled water, hot chocolate and cookies. If you forget your wash kit there are small bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.
This B&B is a golden nugget in the outskirts of Spalding. Our hosts Kim and Simon were extremely welcoming and friendly. Sharing their home with strangers must be challenging, but Kim could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The house was very clean and continental breakfast ample to last the day.
Location lovely. Hotel room was exceptional, really comfy bed/pillows, huge room, lovely furniture, great nights sleep. Huge bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast to order, which was superb. Staff really friendly & helpful. Excellent price for what is offered. Will definitely be staying again! Can not fault!
Three beds and three toilets/bathrooms. Beds and baths very large and spotlessly clean. Parking and easily walkable into town. Free (and unexpected) breakfast in town at their hotel was a real bonus. Went on our check out day so no clearing or washing up✅
The property is still under renovation it appears however this is outside mainly and did not disturb my stay. I can only think the completed works will add to this charming inn. I hope to stay here going forward on my trips to the Spalding area.
We chose this hotel as it was near where our friends lived, so not knowing the area cannot comment on what is around, although there didn't seem much, it is rather out of the way. Our room and bed were comfortable. Free parking was a bonus.
Lovely hotel. Sasha the manager is lovely, warm, friendly and welcoming. Room was bright, very clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Breakfast was excellent. Both Michelle my wife and I had a great stay and will definitely stay again.
Excellent room provided for dog, at the back of the hotel, with external walls, so minimal noise. The rooms were comfy and the larger one, particularly good with an outside area.
