The welcome was warm and the room was very spacious, clean and convenient. There was a good shower in place and options for food during the day. The breakfast was very good - I chose my menu the night before and it arrived very rapidly when I came down to breakfast. It was mostly very quiet indeed - there was a little gentle noise for an hour or two on the Friday night from people sitting at the tables outside, but it was actually rather pleasant to hear people chatting away and all sounds stopped promptly at closing time. The atmosphere was very nice overall, and I really enjoyed staying at this inn. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Newly renovated room. Comfortable and cosy. Lots of natural woods in the furnishings. Great shower /wet room. Nice bedding and towels. Easy to contact the host to arrange access as we were flying into the UK so not certain of arrival time.

Everything was very clean. There was a wide choice for the continental breakfast.

Absolutely stunning property steeped in history. If I hadn't have been travelling for work I would have spent more time exploring. The owner who greeted us was a lovely fellow - very helpful during our stay and even sorted us out with a delicious continental breakfast, earlier than normal, to accommodate for our busy working schedule. I did have a bit of a problem in my room with hot water, but it was sorted immediately and it in no way gave me any bad feelings towards the place. Thanks so much, hopefully see you again soon.

A lovely, cosy stay. It was a flying visit as I was travelling alone for work but really appreciated how friendly and accommodating the kind staff were on my arrival. Fish and chips for dinner was great! The room was small and cosy, perfect for a solo traveller. Facilities were good and everything was clean. Bed was very comfy and surroundings were lovely. Had a tasty breakfast the next morning, too. Thanks for a great stay!

Silverton is a quiet village situated around 10 miles...
Silverton is a quiet village situated around 10 miles outside of Exeter. It has a small shop, a couple of pubs & lots of older housing, many buildings with thatched roofs. It also has a reasonable bus service on a route between Exeter & Tiverton, that allowed me to have a car-free day on my break. The peace & quiet of the rural location was much appreciated!
We have stayed at the Silverton Inn before. The fact that we returned shows that we liked it, and it was at least as good this time, if not better. The rooms are comfortable, very well decorated and equipped. Everything worked, which is more than can be said for the much more well-known hotel we had stayed at the night before. The staff were all lovely, and the food and beer were excellent. We shall certainly return if we need to stay in that area again.
The staff were very polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The room was clean and pleasant to stay in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; the bedding was beautifully laundered! The bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty and nicely cooked.
My stay at The Silverton Inn was good value for money!!
This was a stopover for us as we headed towards Cornwall. It was an unexpected gem. The staff were friendly and engaging. The meals were of an exceptional standard. The room was very comfortable. I would highly recommend. There is a free parking area not far from the hotel in Wyndham Rd.
Superb accommodation. Lovely and clean and the food served is excellent quality. The roads leading to Silverton can be testing and the parking mentioned is actually in the street wherever you can find room. However, having said that, we had no problems finding somewhere to leave the car.
The hotel provides excellent value for money. The owner's take a pride in the presentation of the rooms and common areas. Everything appeared to be new and spotlessly clean. The included breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal was good food. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
My stay at The Silverton Inn was superb both the evening meal and breakfast were very tasty, the room was very clean and comfortable, the hosts were very friendly, I would definitely recommend The Silverton Inn
Silverton is a lovely little village in Devon, I have my Uncle living there and he does not have much space for guests so staying at the Inn is a good alternative.
