Beautiful old black and white building with panelled rooms inside. The staff were excellent, very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Good value food. We stayed in one of the newer chalet style rooms at the back. Large room with good facilities. Really nice place.

It’s so much more than a B&B, more a suite with a separate lounge/dining room and lovely chairs to relax in. The breakfast was excellent. We were on a walking holiday and stayed at several accommodations and this was by far the best. Wendy who runs the accommodation is delightful and very friendly. It’s spotlessly clean with comfy beds and excellent facilities

If you're learning to fly at Shobdon and need somewhere close by then this static caravan is a good choice. A little tight on space but comfortable and fairly clean.
It can get a little noisy overnight as there is a lorry park nearby and a farm but they're far enough away for it not to be too obtrusive whilst you sleep.

A beautiful village, but we only went as I bought my husband a flying session with Swift Light Flight (Steve Eyers) at Shobdon Aerodrome. He had a fantastic time and even non flyers can relax and enjoy very reasonably priced refreshments in the coffee shop.
