We liked that the local parking we used for the van was even accessible for campers. The community was really friendly, lots of people with dogs going about their day. The local Booths was a great place to get meals. We liked the kitchen so much that we didn’t go out for food locally but both pubs in the area looked quality! The roads there are small but manageable and that’s the feeling you want from a place like that anyway. I like that ours close enough for a day out around Malham. The crag walk at the top of the village also suffices for a viewpoint.

Great little town with good amenities.
Great little town with good amenities. Lot of great walks nearby. The Talbot pub good atmosphere and food, the Old naked man cafe and shop is good but have a look down the backstreets for small local independents. A walk along the river and into nearby Giggleswick is worth a visit, find Russel Harty's grave in Giggleswick church yard and have a pint in the Black Horse next door

I have never seen so many quilted jackets and boots! lol VERY popular with walkers but very quaint and bijou. It's perfectly formed and self-contained but not many options of anything Three pubs and about thirty shops. It ain't Las Vegas! but that's its charm.

Settle is a beautiful small town in the Yorkshire dales.
Settle is a beautiful small town in the Yorkshire dales. It has some lovely independent shops restaurants and cafes as well as great public transport links to other villages and towns. Super for a walking stay or just to relax in fabulous scenery.
Everything wow. The decor, the staff, the room was beautiful, lovely little espresso machine in there too, very comfy bed, the food was fantastic, breakfast was exceptional. We usually stay at the Royal Oak down the road and we’ll never stay there again, so if you’re in between which one to choose, pay the little bit extra because it was well worth it. We stayed in Leeds at the Hilton for a few days prior, and this hotel made the Hilton look like a travelodge.
This is a self-catering style holiday rental. A riverside location on the edge of Settle, it is a pleasant and convenient location. The town centre is a short walk away, and there is an immediately-adjacent route to the Ribbleside pathway and, from there, into the Dales. The apartment has two adequate double bedrooms, wardrobe space and a well-equipped kitchen with a comfortable sitting/TV area.

Located in beautiful Settle, so a convenient location with stunning backdrop and surrounding area. Easy stroll into centre for the quaint village & market.
Bed was very comfortable, bed linen gorgeous too.
Rooms & bathroom were very clean.
Looks lovely from the outside.
Food was great, especially breakfast with great choices - no complaints - Vegans might struggle though.
The location was perfect. We especially enjoyed an evening event at the Settle Victoria Hall! We didn’t know about this prior to our arrival there. Lovely restaurants and grocery nearby. A very comfortable place to spend a few days. Another surprise was to visit Giggleswick, just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. Also very close to the train station and the bus stop.
Warm welcome on arrival, room was a very good size, clean, excellent shower and very comfy bed. 6 of us stayed here to attend a wedding. Breakfast was good and we ate in the hotel and couldn’t fault any of the meals. Fridge for all guests to help themselves to water, juice, milk and yogurts. Short walk into Settle will return if we are in that area again
Very friendly staff, comfortable bedroom with T&C making facilities, great choice on menu, freshly cooked food and very well presented, outside eating/drinking area that’s a great sun trap, large bar area and 2 dining rooms, large carpark. Perfect location to explore the dales, very pretty village, 10 minute walk into Settle.
Excellent location with all facilities nearby - supermarket, pub, eateries and petrol. Easy access for all the surrounding sightseeing. Quiet area, lovely comfortable bed and amazing soft pillows. Ideal base for exploring the dales. Looking forward to returning in August.
Warm and cozy B&B. The hosts, Jackie and Chris were so lovely and helpful. Perfect breakfast! They have a lot of choices that you can choose from. My room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around Settle. Private car park. Highly recommended!!!
Great base for exploring the area. The bed and bedding were lovely and comfy.
Lovely evening sun in the courtyard to sit out with a glass of wine. Plenty of walks without getting in the car. Ideal for Settle to Carlisle railway journey or even Skipton by train.
The apartment was just beautiful, very clean , comfortable and warm everything was to a very high standard!
Loved the location ,had a lovely couple of days just wandering about settle taking in the coffee shops and sights and we had sunshine to!
Fabulous manor house that has been beautifully converted to a hotel and restaurant/bar. It is also a wedding venue. The real candlelight every evening is magical. The staff was attentive yet not invasive. It was relaxing to be a guest there.
Good price in that area and not far from some of the attractions like Craven Lime Works, Victoria Cave and Malham Cove. Peoples are friendly, small local pub inside the hotel are nice. enjoyable good quality breakfast.
It's a quaint and cozy pub/hotel that makes you wish you were English and not American! Enjoyed my comfy room a lot, location was convenient and right next to the river. The dinner was excellent!
Great location for doing the 3 peaks, hotel staff lovely and helpful, let us put sandwiches in the fridge and left breakfast out for us in the morning. Great shower and white company toiletries!
