Right from the star, the parking was right outside, the first meeting was very welcoming, the room was perfect in every way, all we needed, plenty of storage, plenty of hangers too! The room was lovely and clean likewise the bathroom/shower was great, the creaky floorboards just added to the charm of the room! Our evening meal was superb and the menu had plenty of choice and the following mornings breakfast was also great, with plenty of choice too. After a whole day of walking around the Brecon Four Falls you could not wish for such a nice place to come back to, it ticked every box, thankyou so much.

Ideal cottage for exploring the area. Double bedroom & a triple single bedroom. Good living room with wood burner. Good kitchen. You need to bring your own tea/coffee etc. No real parking however.

Tanners Arms is still the centre of village life in Devynock, well frequented by locals who were engaging with a solo visitor like myself. Witnessed a 60th birthday celebration where the ladies clearly knew how to party and had been doing so since their respective “Hen Nights”! And Saturday early evening where 3 or 4 generations of the family had lunch along side mourners returning from a wake. Simple menu well cooked with good sized portions and reasonably priced. Breakfast is cooked to order so comes out fresh and hot, not like some establishments where the food was cooked hours before and kept warm on a hot plate. Single room was small, as expected, but comfortable and had all the amenities you could wish for.
Cosy Twin Room in Brecon is located in the village of Cradoc, 3 miles from Brecon. Free private parking is available on-site, and free WiFi is available throughout the entire property.

Very good bed and breakfast.
Very nice owners and staff, and very helpful.
Rooms clean and warm etc.
One slight snag was that I shared the bathroom and toilet with another guest.

We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important.
We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important. We tried two of the three pubs and enjoyed the food at both. We would like to have walked from the property but this wasn’t possible, which was a disappointment.

We had a lovely stay at Castle Lodge the owners and the accommodation were just what we needed it was a perfect base for us to explore the area for a potential house move to Wales. We visited Brecon and Builth Wells and found everyone we met was very friendly.
The breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day.
We had our evening meal at a local pub in Sennybridge and ended up having a great evening talking to the locals.
Absolutely everything about this place was perfect. From the accommodation to the staff, the food to conmfort. I cant fault anything. The room was lovely. The restaurant was incredible with delicious food. The staff were friendly and so accommodating. It was a homely atmosphere where you can relax and unwind. By far the best place we have stayed at and made our first visit to Wales one to remember!
River Run is like an enchanted place full of wonderful things. We fell in love with the apartment and the garden. Absolutely everything you could possibly need has been provided and a few things more too! We loved our stay and will definitely return. 💖 Perfectly situated to explore the Brecon area. We also went to the Botanical Gardens of Wales and Abergavenny. Can't wait to go back.
Really enjoyed our stay at The White House, the room was lovely, so unusual. The whole hotel has so many interesting items to look at. The bed was so comfy, had a really nice sleep as it is so peaceful there. The bathroom has just been renovated, really love the decor. Bryan and Adrian were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble, definitely stay here again.

Absolutely 10/10, 5* stay. We had a fantastic break and can't rate this hotel highly enough. Friendly and accommodating with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it truly felt like a home from home. Dog friendly, and Bryan and Adrian (sorry if I spelt names wrong!) were amazing, really welcoming and treated us like old friends. We will return in the future 100%.
Easy to collect the keys; room was clean and the property was convenient for the Brecon Beacon park, as well as a Texaco to fill up the rental car. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom.
In a great location for our trip to Sennybridge and a lovely welcome on arrival. Everything we needed for our visit was provided and an excellent breakfast in the morning.
