The hotel was very close to the train station and cruise port pier. It was very easy to access and close to restaurants. Location was the best if you are planning to take a cruise and arrive by train. We only stay for one night.

The spa was a really lovely experience and the treatments are excellent. The hot stone massage was wonderful. We expected it to be good, but it exceeded all our expectations in facilities and layout. We aim to return.
The staff are friendly, helpful and are very conscientious.
We were each offered a glass of Quob Estate sparkling Blanc de Blanc. This was superb and reminded us of trying similar in Epernay, France. (We didn't know if this was complementary until we checked out.)
Everywhere is very clean and beautifully furnished.
The bed is very comfortable and the bed linen lovely.
The breakfast was very good and it is clear that great care is taken in preparing and presenting the food.
The building is lovely and full of character. The village of Wickham is a great location.

The bed was so comfortable and it was very clean , beautiful place . Portsmouth harbour is only 20 minutes away with historical boats to see , plenty of places to eat and shopping , you can hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight which only takes 15 minutes on the ferry .
