Staff were exceptionally friendly including the cleaning staff who were lovely & couldn’t do enough for you. Food was of excellent quality. Ideal location for some lovely walks. Would highly recommend.

The location was fine. The help was efficient if not welcoming. The breakfast was acceptable. Out of four different accommodations during our 7 nights in England, this was the one we wouldn't recommend.
Set on a clifftop overlooking the harbour, The Old School Hotel offers a restaurant and en-suite rooms in Port Isaac. Free WiFi access is available in shared areas.
Set in Tintagel, Camelot Castle Hotel offers sea views overlooking the cliff. This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Tintagel Castle. Guests can have a cocktail at the bar....
The Darlington Hotel is located in Camelford. Free WiFi is available and free parking is available, some on site and some a one-minute walk away.

Room was very clean, bed comfortable.
The electricity did not work in the first room we were shown to however we were swiftly moved to another room with no hassle at all.

It was a beautiful building
Set in the beauty of tintagel
Stairs were a bit steep causing problems lugging the suitcase up two flights
But our stay in the whole was so relaxing
Beautiful friendly village. The White Hart Inn is a very old but quaint Inn where the staff are very friendly & the food is amazing. Read the book by Ann Worrell on the history of St Teath, it’s very interesting.

St Teath is a quiet little village, but has a lovely pub (the White Hart) for evening meals (portions are generous!), good location for visiting North Cornwall and just off the A39 (Atlantic Highway).

A small typical Cornish town, near to Port Isaac and Newquay ( ideal for who pratices surf and kayak).
The White Cottage is situated only 200 metres from the centre.
TREVILLEY LANE to be exact for who uses a navigator (to be careful that in Cornwall, the "roads" can be very, very narrow and the navigator doesn't always choose the ideal road!)
Near the house there is a caffé, open to 5pm.for English teas.
Nearby is a "real" pub/restaurant, open for meals fom 12 until 2pm. and 6 until 9pm with an assorted menu. Curry, fish & chips, Mexican Chili, ham & eggs, with a wide choice of local beer and a reasonable wine list. (I prefer the Somerset Cyder!)
The White Cottage is well restructed on two floors, quiet with modern furnishing. A bathroom including a shower.
I have visited Cornwall many times and it remains to be discovered in it's simple traditions and stone artitectual offerings.
Cornwall has it's own written language, lovely to discover local words, mainly of towns and villages.
I'd return in Spring, and follow the steps of "Poldark"!
It was nearly November, variable weather but I managed to visit Bodmin, Port Isaac, Newquay and Fowey.

A medium-sized village which still possesses a few shops and a pub. The pub is a little dated. There are a small cafe and a shop/p.o for essential purchases and very good local butcher. Our visit in a wet late October was not really conducive to walking the village. The pub is 'O.K'.!
