Initially unable to locate the car park, but got there in the end it is actually directly opposite the hotel in Pound rd. Friendly greeting on arrival.
Room on second floor, no lift. Room faced the main road so noisy first thing in the morning, as it's a busy road into Lyme Regis. Windows are double glazed.

Decided to eat in the restaurant our first night, busy, food very good best chips I have had in a long time, the lamb, although a little pink, was delicious. No room for desert.
The hotel is situated at the top of Silver St, only a short stroll into the town, decent walk back!

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. They found a taxi for us to get to our course at River Cottage and stored the sausages we made there overnight in their fridge.

Lovely trip back in time in terms of the building, furnishings and decor. Good value with excellent breakfast, complimentary evening drink and use of pool and jacuzzi. We really liked it. Less than 2 mins walk to the sea.

The staff were pleasant and breakfast good but that’s all that can be said for this filthy accommodation unfortunately. The garden would have gained points had the seating been clean and the bucket of cigarette butts been emptied by the entrance!

Food excellent and staff v friendly. Good location.
Rousdon is a very small pretty village. We walked down to the private beach it wasn’t the easiest walk but we took our 2 month old in a carrier it was quite steep and narrow in places but managed it.
There isn’t really anything else in Rousdon so we had to go to Lyme Regis for shops/beach which is a 5/10 minute drive.
