The apartment is smart and spotless, decorated and furnished skillfully to make best use of space and create a classy style. There were some thoughtful extras to welcome us, wine and milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits.
The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we needed but otherwise left us to enjoy our space. We had a fantastic short stay and will most likely be returning.

The location is quite central, and the bathroom was new. The building has a certain retro charm in the style of Harry Potter's Grimmauld Place, but this comes with a few inconveniences.

From the freshly baked bread that we were greeted with to the warm welcome we received, the whole stay was amazing. So much space as we have a young baby, this really helped.
The hosts Dave & Irene make the accommodation what it is. The attention to detail is second to none. A beautifully styled and homely place to stay. Would recommend to anyone.
So clean and fresh.
Thank you for a lovely stay. David & Natalie Jackson

It was a beautiful place.
It was a beautiful place. It has everything you need to be comfortable and more! We really enjoyed our stay. The bus stop to Edinburgh was just a few steps from the place and for a few pounds it took us directly to the Royal Mile. We left the car at the property. The owner is great. He gave us information about the country, advises, maps, etc. The property is perfect and it has thoughtful things to make your stay pleasant.

What a wonderful atmospheric chapel.
What a wonderful atmospheric chapel. And the grounds were amazing too. We had a talk from a local lady who had lots of detailed descriptions of how the chapel came to be erected - and the stories surrounding the people who owned it, or worked there, or were apprenticed there.
The site has a great Visitor Centre, with a varied selection of goodies to buy as mementos of our visit. They also have a cafe selling a range of snacks, breakfasts, brunches and lunches., hot and cold drinks. Super place, extraordinary chapel, interesting grounds and helpful, pleasent staff. I wouldn't say no to a repeat visit if we happen to be in the area again. 5 star+ experience.

I can highly recommend Templar loft. It was a 10\10 for us.
I can highly recommend Templar loft. It was a 10\10 for us. I found it on booking.com and would absolutely return to visit this area again with my husband. This trip was with my 15 ur old daughter and we found it perfect. The bus 37 is right outside and takes you right into Edinburgh. There is a quaint little coffee attached too.

I took an OS guided walk along the river valley on a beautiful summer's evening. Peaceful and beautiful.
Once in the city of Edinburgh, it shows itself well as a European capital, busy, historic and plenty to see and do.
We ate at the local restaurant Cibo which was a very traditional UK Italian restaurant, senior clientele but very good food; the sauce base and break base authentic - they should focus on their traditional items, though.

Super village, beautiful walks, lovely dog friendly pub (Original Rosslyn Inn), Dollys Tea room and Old Chapel Guest House and of course the chapel. Nice little shop for gifts and cards, a convenience shop that sells everything and is open to 9pm. Big shout out to Noble Beauty! love the sort of consortium of folks and different treatment types (reflexology, Reikki, Sports massage, hair, nails and much more) - really unexpected but wonderful surprise - book early though as they are very popular. Very close to the Royal Dicks Vet Hospital which is why we were there. Local folks all super friendly and easy to take to and ask for ideas / suggestions of where to go. Easy to get to Edinburgh and beyond by bus and wonderful places to explore by car and head to the coast on the East too. We also spent a little time in North Berrick, Collinton and Linlithgow which we also liked. Beach walks at Yellowcraig and Country Walks also at Beecraigs (this place was vast and beautiful!
Location in easy reach of Edinburgh centre by regular public buses, a short walk into historic Roslin village and to Easter Bush campus. Pentland hills easily accessible if you have your own transport. A great location with city and country equidistant.
Very comfortable beds, super clean and tidy. I don't think i've ever seen a larger television! Lovely touches like freshly made bread and flowers from the garden - so lovely and kind; almost making too much effort!
luxury accommodation- like a hotel but with all the benefits of a home that you can come and go as you please.
Well thought out- everything we needed was there and more.
comfortable beds and lovely fluffy towels great shower.
Good eating places within walking distance.
Easy to catch bus into Edinburgh.
Lots to do in the area nearby.
We love the quietness from Edinburg.
Ultimate comfort in bed and pillows. I want to buy it! Room is comfortable and literally right across from the Roslin Chapel for 9 am booking. Free parking.
No fuss place with tea house for breakfast or lunch. The original Roslin Inn has good food.
