First point - the sign in Welsh around the car park tell you that parking is free for hotel guests. The only one in English is by the reception door, so you may end up paying and not needing to. (I speak Welsh, so I didn’t pay).
Check in is a bit of a faff. You have the document to sign, need a credit card and a photo ID. No idea why they need all of that.
The room was ok - pretty dated, but the bed was clean and comfy. The shower is designed by a man for a man - fixed head, have to lean through the spray to adjust the temperature. Shower head could do with a clean.
Good location - bit noisy, but ok.
