Booked this on the day of stay, due to being geographically challenged.
Bev couldn't have been more accommodating. She guided us in (I should have read her detailed directions) opened the door and showed us around. The little touches left at the cottage made it feel like we had arrived at home from home. We feel like we really struck lucky. Bev guided us to the Borve hotel (10 min walk)for dinner and drinks, which was really nice too.
This luxury beach-side guest house has stunning views, a beautiful setting, and stylish rooms. Each room has their own private decking area.

Cottage was very cosy with all the necessary amenities and more including a washer and dryer. Using the log burner was an experience that my children will never forget, especially as we come from a tropical country. The bedroom on the second floor had a window with a view of a lovely sunrise, a very nice wake-up call.
The location placed us an 8 minute drive away from the nearby lighthouse which was fantastic at sunset. We didn't manage to explore the local area much such as Eoropie Beach and Port of Ness which are minute drives away from the cottage as we couldn't get a ferry ticket in time due to an overambitious itinerary. Will certainly come again to visit the missed places in the isles.
The amazing host, Iain, also made sure our stay was enjoyable, from the directions to the cottage to the homemade scones for us to enjoy, he has certainly made it a pleasure to stay.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage at one of the most beautiful ends of the world. Everything you'd need was there - and those views over the sea were fantastic! We were very pleased about the little goodies and the personal welcome card, too. When you're there, don't forget to visit the hosts gallery in the village. We'd love to come back.

The house was really nice with lots of space. Beds were really comfy, and the hosts had left food in the fridge for our arrival. The house was very clean with lovely scenery all around.
So many things to see. Recommend visiting the art gallery, the sea wall at the port, pizza at breakwater cafe, a visit to the light house, story beach, the flying foxes at Europie beach, the antique shop and further afield, a visit to the callanish standing stones and Harris is highly recommended.

Beautifully scenery, but not for holiday makers, very poor facilties, no grocery shop near by, the nearest a few miles away, very difficult to find places to visit or find things to do. Excellent place to visit, if you want to do nothing at all, except to look at the scenery. The breakwater cafe was nice, limited menu, everything with chips, homemade soup lovely. Only cafes around to provide meals, which are closed by 4pm. 2hotels, providing evening meals opened only for Thurs, Friday and Saturday nights only.everything closed on sundays, can't even get petrol or a pint of milk. No people around, saw about a dozen people all week, place deserted, like a ghost town.

The Cross Inn at Cross about 5minutes away offered excellent food and also the Breakaway Cafe close to the beach was also very good.
This holiday is suitable for people wanting peace and unspoilt countryside.
