Exquisite location, big rooms and bathroom. Amazing breakfast (croissants are to die for!), and lots to do at the house (board games, etc.). To top it off, Thomas who was managing the place was ever helpful and great! Highly, highly recommended place!

Lovely woman, friendly, helpful, perfect! The location turned out to be on my favourite part of the island. Not many options for an evening meal but for sure go to the golf course if they’re open. You can’t book the big hotel for dinner until after 11:00am but we managed 1 night there. Nice view not great food. The third night we ate in Lammish.

We were in a larger room in the Briarlea house which is a short walk from the main hotel. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Very clean! Additionally we ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was lovely. Excellent options and very attentive staff.

When we arrived, we were lucky enough to meet Pi, and she gave us excellent recommendations for the island (ate lunch at Ardbeg and it was incredible as she said it would be). She was so sweet and helpful. We loved the view! It's in a beautiful area, right on the ocean. We loved that there was plenty of space, and that the house was charming. Had everything we needed to cook meals. We were also happy to have Netflix to watch shows at night. And we were thrilled to have a washer and dryer so we could clean our clothes.

My clients were very happy with their stay and even sent me a text with Whatsapp to let me know that it was a great fit for them. It was my first time to sell the property and now it will be a go to for our agency.

Great base to explore the Island of islay.
Great base to explore the Island of islay. Wonderful bird life. Peace and tranquility, meeting interesting people, visiting bird sanctuaries and just being in a beautiful setting of Islay. Flora my host was a kind and helpful and the cottage well appointed. The distillery's had excellent facilities with cafe's, restaurant's and whisky tasting. Will visit Islay again for the beauty and birdlife and friendliness of the local people.

The views out of the front of the house were stunning.
The views out of the front of the house were stunning. The area is ok but apart from the distilleries it has little. The local hotel is lovely and the host a very welcoming fellow.
Overall for the price I paid I could have stayed at one of the lovely hotels on the island, but, my wife and I prefer to be a bit more independent so booked this bi "apartment" suitable for six people. I think if I had taken friends they would have gone upstairs and threatened the people living there....
