Very friendly staff. Great location. Very comfortable beds. The free minibus for local jaunts was a nice surprise. Driver Jet was very informative. The free milk and water was a nice touch.

Beautiful location and especially the view. The sea-countryside- the cows in the fields- lots of seating in and outside. Idyllic.

The accommodation was OK because the deficiencies in the room by the discounted price were allowed. This Pub, however, seems to be ASBO central, Wadebridge. If you dine in a bar that is, by day, full of feral children or try and sleep in a room where all you can hear are loud-mouthed, high-volume drunks (Midweek), obscene language, motorbikes and cars being revved up and then run around the block, fights being threatened. Each to their own (I am a petrolhead and a biker), but these are idiots. If the landlord had any spine, they would be barred to prevent the Pub from getting closed down by the police. If you like that kind of thing stay here.
I would definitely go back, once the full facilities are up...
I would definitely go back, once the full facilities are up and running, we did have a bad first dinner, hopefully, it was a one-off, our bed was uncomfortable, so would change rooms. The place is spit and span clean, the bar is a little expensive, but local shops close bye. Staff most welcoming and friendly. A great location.

Polzeath is a great village with a great beach in a location that is so pretty and not over crowded which was nice. It has a good variety of places to eat, a well stocked Spar supermarket and some really great walks.

Polzeath and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful,...
Polzeath and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful, the beaches are fantastic although they get very busy in the season. You can find smaller coves and beaches nearby (Daymer Bay) that are quieter. Wadebridge is 6 miles away for major shops and small shops are available in the village itself with a good selection of food and goods. Beach, hill walks and the wonderful coastal path are right on the doorstep.

Fantastic beach and coastal paths suitable for the whole family. Parking is an issue in high season but if you're prepared to walk it's no problem. Shops nearby in Wadebridge are fine and lots of small villages to visit.
