One of the most unique hotels in Perth, set in a 15th century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, reception area and Lounge Bar.

This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

Location was perfect for us as we were using public transport. It was also easy to walk into town. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff worked hard to make sure we were served quickly. I made a mistake with my booking and staff took time to sort it out for me for which I was very grateful

Perth is a perfect location for people who need to travel on public transport, as it is a hub for trains and buses. It has 3 museums, a concert hall, beautiful gardens and walks along the River Tay. Close by are historic places such as Scone Palace, where Scottish Kings were crowned. For those who like shopping there is a good selection of retailers, many of whom are independent traders.

We didn’t really explore the city but used it as a base for exploring the area. We did many hikes and beach walks all within an hours drive.
The Glover Arms is a fantastic pub with great food and dog friendly. They were really accommodating of food intolerances.
The room is simple but huge, clean and comfortable, with good sitting area where we could relax ourselves after a long journey.
The beds are comfortable.
Bathroom is new and big.
Shower is good.
Kettle, Coffee, tea are all provided inside the room.
Very good price.
Simple breakfast but enough.
Friendly staff.
Easy check-in / check-out
The hostel located in a queit area, could sleep very well in the night.
Only a short drive from Perth.
The best hostel we had stayed during our 15 days vacation in Scotland.
It is cool to stay in the oldest hotel in Scotland. The room is big, clean, and comfortable on the top floor. The room was actually divided into two bedrooms with a TV in each. They also provide a kettle to make hot tea or coffee.
Definitely a 3 star hotel. But the bed in our room was the most comfortable I've slept in for years and I've slept in plenty coming to Scotland. The breakfast was very good also .
