Very old Pup with gorgeous views across the river towards Fowey. There was a big bay window with seats to enjoy the view. Good food. We had breakfast and dinner at the pub. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The location. The lodge is set in the grounds of a manor house which is now a hotel. Fantastic views of surrounding woodland.
Animals. 30 peacocks and 5 horses
Accommodation. The lodge seemed almost brand new and was very well equipped and tastefully furnished.

Pelynt itself isn’t anything to write home about but a good location for access to Looe and Polperro. Bus service also good if you don’t want to take the car. The Coddy Shack recommended for fish and chips. The Blue Peter Inn in Polperro also really good.

Pelynt is a quiet village with a good pub, The Jubilee. Little Larnick farm is just out of the village. It is a few minutes drive to Looe, Polperro and other surrounding towns, villages and beaches that are well worth a visit.
