Loved everything about the property . The location with stunning views, the atmosphere , the friendly attentive manager and staff to whom nothing was too much trouble . Wonderful breakfast with beautiful pastries as well as hot cooked food and delicious freshly baked bread .

This is a fascinating old inn, dating back to 1420. There’s a great bar with a huge inglenook fireplace. The building is a veritable warren of rooms landings. Very quirky.

Food was delicious. Swimming pool was great, beautiful pool but slightly cold and needs a little more ambiance with some music (classical or magic FM etc) comfortable bed. Was upgraded on arrival. Thank you Flackley Ash! We will be back.

Great location close to the A21, ideal for trips to the coast, especially Rye, Camber & Hastings. Also within half an hour of Battle Abbey. Several pubs in the village to choose from and a large supermarket to stock up on supplies.

It's near Rye and other places to visit. We walked from Rye to Camber. Beautiful. A lovely walk to Peasmarsh Church. We will definately be staying at The Great Escape again. A Jempsons superstore near too if just fancy sandwiches or snacks. Food great at The Oak which is joined to where we stayed

Peasmarsh itself is a quite charming place.
Peasmarsh itself is a quite charming place. It has a local market and petrol station/car wash. Pub and accomodation for visitors. We used Peasmarsh as a base for visiting places such as Rye which is a very charming town which reminded me of the good old days Camber Sands which has one of the best beaches you will find anywhere in the country. It is situated in a lovely part of the country. We stayed at the Great Escape which is a row of chalets with bedroom and shower room. A nice veranda with a small table and two chairs outside and in. In the grounds of a pub called The Oak. This is a smashing pub for really good food and drink at reasonable prices. The staff were always very welcoming ensuring we enjoyed our time there
