Friendlishy staff. Good size room. Clean .Even had a toaster (but I had no bread). Huge TV but not new enough to be able to be connect to the Internet (this, perhaps, should be a 'didn't like' comment ').
The White Horse is a beautiful Grade II-listed pub in the heart of Dorking with atmospheric dining areas, serving an award-winning fresh and seasonal menu, and a cosy oak beamed bar with fireplace.

I thought it was lovely and clean and tidy, the staff were really nice, certainly the lady who checked me in and served me at dinner was really very lovely. Would definitely stay again.
Set in 9 acres of parkland, the hotel is well placed for Guildford, Woking and the M25. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, and free parking on site.

The restaurant at the hotel is very good. The Ribeye is probably one of the best we’ve had. Much better than what you do get at the overpriced and underwhelming The Plough Inn in Cobham.

A very beautiful village with close proximity to various mountain bike trails. Friendly people and a great bike rental place to suit all your needs for a little adventure and leisure at the same time.

Wonderful village, deep in the Surrey countryside, popular with mountain bikers, walkers and ordinary people like me! Surrounded by the Surrey Hills, there are some terrific walks and the climb to the top of Pitch Hill is well worth it. There’s a great little shop, but most important of all, a stupendous pub, the Hurtmore Inn, whose restaurant has the biggest plates of food I have ever seen, and whose waiters (Italian) are totally adorable. The Hurtmore Hotel is just behind the pub and is also excellent.
It was lovely to return to the Hurtwood Inn after visiting with a friend in April this year. The receptionist remembered me which was a lovely personal touch. Nothing was a problem for the staff who were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and set us up for the day and the long walks we enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere in the pub and vibrant energy throughout.
This was our second time staying at the Hurtwood, with a few years between visits. We have recommended it to friends and finally had time to come back ourselves. The warm welcome was just as we remembered. The room was spacious and the cooked breakfast was excellent. For exploring the walks from Peaslake the location cannot be better. Parking on site is easy and plentiful.
Comfortable modern clean, lovely to have iron and ironing board - needs adding to the spec. A toaster would have been a bonus. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Food good and Peaslake itself such a delightful place, it really ticked the box for us as we were attending a wedding a few miles away.
My wife & I stayed here for our wedding night 45 years ago and planned this visit for our anniversary. The hotel is as delighful as it was in 1978 but has had significant modernisation since then. Fantastic location with easy access to Pitch Hill and beautiful surrounding area.
The Hurtwood Hotel was fabulous. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was super, food exceptional. The connected pub was lovely. Great experience. Took my parents for on overnight - they said it was so good it felt like a mini-break
The hotel and location were wonderful. The staff member who looked after us, Georgia could not have been more helpful or lovely and took great care of me and my daughter during our stay.
