The Union Hotel is in the centre of Penzance. A 5-minute walk from the sea, the 17th-century building houses Hamilton’s Restaurant and also Nelson’s Bar, where there is free WiFi.
The Marazion Hotel offers a restaurant, bar and stylish rooms, some with views of the sea towards St Michael's Mount. This hotel is moments away from shops, a pub and a Cornish tea room.

Staff were very efficient. Low level lighting in the bathroom was a great idea. Food for dinner and breakfast better than hotels at twice the price.
With wonderful views across Penzance Bay, Hotel Penzance offers award-winning cuisine and boutique bedrooms. Guests can relax in the swimming pool in the Mediterranean-style gardens.
The unique and original rooms at the 17th-century Artist Residence are each uniquely designed in an eclectic, rustic style, with a curated collection of limited edition artworks throughout.
WE ARE NOT A DOG/PET FRIENDLY INN. In the market town of Penzance, The Longboat Inn is right opposite Penzance Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the beach.

Excellent location, super friendly staff, nice old fashioned hotel. Really enjoyed my stay here.
Excellent food, so you may want to book in advance to secure a table.
3-4 minutes walk from the railways station and the bus station. Arrived and left by train, but had lots of daytrips by bus. Public transport is amazingly good, both frequent, easy and affordable. With a day pass you can use all the different bus companies.
Happy ti recommend and to stay here again.
Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away.

Good value for a quick getaway. Lots of communal toilets & shower to use in the corridors. Clean toilets and shower rooms which is a big bonus!
Featuring views across beautiful Mounts Bay, The Yacht Inn offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. Located in Penzance, the property is just 5 minutes' walk from the Isles of Scilly Ferry Port.

For me, and as a base to get out walking, Paul was just right. Paul is an atmospheric Cornish hamlet that has a popular pub and a really lovely church. Buses to and from Penzance do call at the hamlet but are quite infrequent. However, following a 15 minute lane walk quite steeply downhill to Mousehole, a frequent and speedy bus service connects to Newlyn and Penzance. A similar 10 to 15 minute, but flat, walk to a main road location bus stop provides for a more regular service (than the buses actually coming into Paul) connecting to Newlyn and Penzance. From that stop there is also the Land's End Coaster bus service that is circular around the whole Land's End peninsular providing access very many places.

It has a pub, church and village hall.
It has a pub, church and village hall. It looks quite nice and Mousehole harbour is walkable. So a good place to stay if you want to go to Mousehole but don't want tourists staring in your holiday cottage windows all day
