My gosh, where do I begin, from the lovely welcome in the reception and the helping with our luggage. The staff throughout our stay were amazing, fun to be around, and a great fun always and smiling. They were helpful in helping us and giving us suggestions and directions when we wanted to go somewhere. Huge thanks again to Jackie she gives off such a vibrant energy and also really upset and sorry I've forgotten her name she was our first point of contact on our first day at the reception, absolutely lovely she was also I believe one of the house maintenance she helped us with the directions to the fishing lake, thank you and to all of them for helping me with my first ever bike practice, thanks for your comments and support 😊🤣. I shall definitely be back. Huge thank you to everyone else. Also, the breakfast was amazing thanks to the chef and all who served us in the morning.

Northampton is one of England’s largest towns and has appeared in writing since the 10th century. The large medieval market square has an array of stalls 5 days a week, and nearby are the Market Walk and Grosvenor shopping centres. A larger retail and entertainment site is out of the town centre near Sixfields Stadium, home of Northampton Town FC. The Northampton Saints rugby union team play nearby, and Silverstone is south-west of the M1.
To the east is Billing Aquadrome, a marina complex with go karting, minigolf and a miniature railway. A smaller marina is along the River Nene in Becket’s Park, overlooked by 78 Derngate, a Grade II-listed house redesigned by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Other notable buildings are the Guildhall and colonnaded All Saints Church. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre dates to 1100 and is one of England’s largest round churches.
On the outskirts of town, by one of several golf courses, is Delapre Abbey, and to the north are other historic mansions of Coton Manor, Cottesbrooke Hall and the most famous of them all - Althorp House, the final resting place of Princess Diana.
The Northampton accommodation on Booking.com includes hotels with swimming pools, alongside apartment and guest house options near the train station and university.

Northampton is a large town in the East Midlands.
Northampton is a large town in the East Midlands. It has a lot of history and good rail links. I especially like the Rennie Macintosh house and the King Billy Rock Pub. The Wellingborough road has lots of interesting cuisines to explore. Shops are not too bad, and the market is being refurbished. Worth a visit.

Northampton is not everyone's idea of a tourist heritage...
Northampton is not everyone's idea of a tourist heritage attraction but it has a lot going for it -four historic churches, two chapels with connections to the 18th century revival, some excellent pubs and a magnificent Victorian town hall. It also has excellent public transport connections and in my various stays over the years I have visited Towcester and Nuneaton (during the recent trip) plus Kettering, Wellingborough, Earls Barton, Brixworth, Market Harborough, Kenilworth, Long Buckby and Rugby on previous visits

The surrounding areas were nice and I was at a conference at Delepre Abbey which is well worth a visit, the grounds are lovely and you can take your children for a run around or your dogs. Picnics in the summer would be lovely.

I formerly lived in Northampton and was staying over night to meet with family. As a town it has changed significantly from my child hood and whilst attractions in the town could be considered limited, there are interesting places to see and it acts a good based to visit other attractions in the surrounding area.
Hopping Hare really went above my expectations. It was warm, cozy, and homey. The restaurant itself is nicer than the pictures, the prices great, food good quality, all the staffs were lovely and attentive!
Breakfast ends at 9am, I got there at 8:59am not knowing it ends at 9am and they serviced me. Lended me a UK plug to charge my phone overnight since I had just landed and couldn’t get one in time. They took great care of me. Thank you.
We liked that it was dog friendly, the dog can come into the bar/restaurant area too and there was a little area to walk outside for him to do his business! Room 31 was large & on ground floor- again great with a pet. Good facilities, walk in shower etc
Hotel located close to the Uni & town centre & lots of parking. The receptionist encouraged us to become an IHG member which meant we could check out later.
The apartment was clean and spacious.
Hosts were very accommodating and very easy to contact.
Wasn't directly in town which was nice as was quiet but was only a 5-10 min walk to the town centre which was nice :) however there are amenities close by if needed.
WiFi was really good!
Overall we really enjoyed our stay :)
Location was perfect, walking distance from the town centre. The property was immaculate any and had plenty of space for 4 people. Two bathrooms along with a separate toilet made getting ready a lot easier. The hosts were very responsive with our enquiries.
The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice & nicely presented.
For us the hotel location was just right, not far from home, in a tiny village, part of a private estate & surrounded by countryside, but not that far from a big town if required.
I liked the location, I was born not far from the property and it was nice to be home again.
it is a great location for exploring Northampton, walk in to town center in 15 minutes or so.
The owner is really friendly and helpful.
Lovely apartment, beds very comfy. Well equiped kitchen area. Easy access with key safe. Fairly quiet location considering distance to town centre. Plenty of wardrobe/ cupboard space. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
All the staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious and clean. The location is only 5 minutes away from town centre by car. Would definitely recommend and I will know where to book again if I ever plan to go back.
Room was lovely and bed very comfy. On arrival lovely lady on reception who was very helpful.
Also close the town centre only a short walk or buses were available just outside hotel and every 10mins
To be honest it was exactly as you’d expect, really enjoyed the stay, extremely close to the town centre within a 5/10 minute walk, bed was very comfortable, room was very spacious and very clean.
