Perfect romantic weekend getaway with easy travel (not too far from home but far enough to be away!) Lovely, peaceful setting (might be busy during peak times though). The accommodation was adequate for two people for a short stay and the hot tub sealed the deal for us. Private and well stocked with more logs to have a bonfire or keep the external woodfire stove stoked for the hot tub. Hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and clean! Adequate kitchenette with electric plate (1) and microwave and fridge. We barbecued each night to make it easier to cater but there is a lovely restaurant/bar/café on site and within easy walking distance from the cabin if you fancy having a meal out. Prices looked reasonable and food looked great. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted one issue regarding keys out very quickly when we first arrived. My hubby and I will definitely be back and perhaps bring the children as there are also bigger cabins available to suit families. Remember to bring towels and bring extra so you can hot tub to your heart's content.

Great location, really well equipped apartment.
Private parking was an added bonus.
Excellent value for money, more comfortable and convenient than staying in a hotel too.
Only stayed for one night, but would be great for an extended stay for business trips etc.

Breakfast was excellent, a good range of options and great to be able to specify a "lighter than full" option. We had one dinner and this was good quality and value.
Evening meal was excellent. Room was in self-contained cottage nearby which was spacious and convenient, with parking space. Very large room, well furnished and well heated. Mini-fridge was very useful although seal is not tight (room 20). Large ensuite bathroom but absolutely nowhere to put a bath bag; needs a small shelf or unit above sink.

Friendly staff, good food.
Friendly staff, good food. The room was comfy and there was no noise from the pub customers. The location was good for me, being close to the nature reseves I wished to visit.
Internet was very weak; I compensated by using my phone as a mobile hotspot.

The environmental devoted tree sanctuary integration.
The environmental devoted tree sanctuary integration. The purity of the air. The peacefully energised fauna atmosphere. The loveliness of the space for secluded walking. The nature paced focused interaction. Almost back to where I was first absolutely immersed in dear pristine mother nature.

We loved the simple fresh clean air of the forest trails.Ensure you have your own flask or water and you can enjoys miles of trails without getting in the car.Worth getting a thetford forestry map or OS as hotel grounds maps will only show there trails and many of them link to the wider area.

Lovely place to stay.. The grounds are beautiful.. Excellent birdwatching.
Sunday lunch in the restaurant was good & the service
very good..Breakfast was good with excellent choice & service once again very good.
From start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful friendly welcome as we arrived.
The room was large, warm and extremely clean. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a lovely touch of luxury toiletries. The towels were fluffy and thick (the best we have had in a hotel)
Breakfast was delicious with a lovely choice of fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, cereals and a wonderful cooked breakfast.
Can’t fault this beautiful little b&b. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for such a perfect stay.
We stayed at this hotel while cycling the Rebellion Way. The hotel is situated in a pretty little village. We had a very warm welcome from the staff and were accommodated in Room 10 in the coach house which was perfect for us. We carried our bikes through so we could store them safely in the courtyard for the night. It was a perfect room for our needs. Dinner and breakfast were both good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Very clean and comfortable room. Ample parking.
A strange set up though. The accommodation, is managed by the nearby Crown Hotel. When I called the phone number, I actually spoke to staff at the Crown. They joined me, after five minutes, at Clare with the keys.
A comment, when booking, that you really need to contact the Crown Hotel, would be helpful.
Food, for an evening meal and breakfast is available nearby.
Everything!!!!
Second stay with a group of friends and they didnt disappoint. Had an amazing time.. Andy and Diane are the best hosts.. So very accomodating, the rooms are decorated to a really high spec with beautiful countryside views. Easy walk to Lyndford Arboretum and lakes. Fish and chip shop and the Crown pub in Mundford 1.25 mile walk.
We will undoubtedly be coming back for more adventures. 🥰
Everything about the Crown Hotel was very , very good. The food was excellent, the staff helpful and friendly and the room very clean and confortable. Far far better than any Travelodge or Premier Inn and certainly better value for money.
really welcoming and lovely people - the place is both immaculate and interesting.
the food is exceptional and nothing was too much trouble I’ve stayed in hotels around the world and this is definitely one of the best and nicest ever!
There was a good choice for breakfast, the hotel was fairly full so the service was a little slow but not slow enough to be an issue really. I think that there was another wedding party staying there apart from our own.
Room was comfortable, food was excellent, staff were very helpful and friendly. couldn't fault this venue. will definitely recommend to family and friends. We will certainly use your Hotel in the future.
Fabulous breakfast served to room no room service charges. The hotel setting and grounds... beautiful walks. Hotel itself like out of a history film... like an old stately home.
Good cosy room with good views. Food is of a very good standard and the service was spot on. Would not hestiate to recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
