Breakfast service was appalling no plates were left out and took them around 10 minutes to arrive with plates even though there was a big queue of people waiting. The knifes were the most blunt knifes going to cut your food and most of the food had run out and wasn’t topped up for ages.

Excellent breakfast and as I was there to signwrite the outside of the building, I could not have been better located.
I took the opportunity of exploring this delightful town with its magnificent abbey.
I intend to return for a mini break in the future.

Very nice room, and fantastic bar. Dinner was exceptional. Recently under new management, the quality has really stepped up with a new chef on board who cooked us an amazing dinner.

Beautiful location, surrounded by countryside yet a short drive to Romsey a market town with a small but fantastic Abbey, plenty of restaurants to choose from.
The bedroom is very nicely decorated , tea, coffee and biscuits for a snack. Breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of choice. Working Tv with Freeview. Parking on site friendly hosts.
