The room was very comfortable, clean and everything worked well. Except the shower. The hot and cold water was good. But shower head didn’t fit well in the bracket. It kept hanging loose. So I had to hold it by hand. Nevertheless, the ceiling shower works well.
One issue. It was rather noisy as it overlooks the square. Groups of youngsters rather noisy after going to the pub. Also the Kebab shop in the square attracted the groups of people, as it’s open until midnight.
Things got quiet after midnight. Except for the chiming of the clock every hour in the Town Hall. I didn’t need an alarm to wake me up at 7.00. AM.
Very convenient Tesco’s around the corner for. Sandwiches, drinks, water.
All in all it was a good stay and convenient for my travel plans.

The hosts where extremely friendly and helpful. They did not provide a cooked breakfast but had a meals area that had a microwave, air fryer, fridge, kettle etc that you could use any time. Cereal, yoghurt, bread, pastries 🥐, muffins and fruit 🍎 where available to eat all day. You can buy food in town and bring it back to prepare if you want.
Lovely setting and good areas for a walk.

Sherry and Lauren were very welcoming and nice! The place has been really nicely renovated and we were told about future renovations which will make it even better! All the decorations were lovely and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Really nice breakfast too in a relaxed and flexible environment.

Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Narrow gauge railway at Ravenglass is stunning, we also visited wastwater , and Ulverston which is a lovely little town.
We ate at the ski bar on the site and the harbour hotel port haverigg, both were nice but slightly more choice and better service in the harbour hotel.

One of the most beautiful and unique place in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 lake view and sea view at the same spot. Hundred times better than Windermere. We spent quality family time in peaceful environment. Kids liked it as well as my daughter said she can live there forever ❤️

Millim is a quiet small village.
Millim is a quiet small village. Not alot to do there so would have to travel to attractions usually a minimum of half hr drive. It is a quaint little village though with a few lovely walks. Could do it all in a day though.

Millom itself is lovely, very old and like setting back in time with the stone houses and dirty net curtains. Beach is lovely albeit rather black and muddy. Beachside bar and restaurant is great for food, very friendly.

Millom itself is a very rural place and not really a tourist destination as such, however. Its a great location base for walking and Haverigg Beach is also just a short drive away.People are very friendly and shopping choice is very limited so take as much as you can with you.
The apartment was spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were really comfy, and the flat was well situated as a base for lake district hikes.
The apartment is in great condition, and despite being in what looks like a Victorian era building, it has clearly been renovated to excellent modern standards, and stayed nice and warm with the heating on.
The owner was really friendly and helpful and we had a great chat with her at breakfast.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
Despite being on a main road the rooms were very quiet at night.
The Pavilion Guest House is just a short walk from the centre of Millom
We loved the caravan, which was extremely clean and cosy, well equipped. The communication with the owner-great.The site was very nice, too. It was a good place to stay and in our case ,to travel a bit further to the lake district.
The apartment was quiet and was conveniently located very close to the station and to shops. It felt secure and it was clean and pleasant, with comfortable chairs and beds. The heating, when required, was very efficient.
Fantastic house in a fantastic setting Horama House has everything you would wish for & more, it’s not a typical B&B it is an exceptional place to stay with wonderful welcoming hosts, such a peaceful calming place ~ heaven
Great quiet location as long you are willing to travel here and there. We had daily trips to lake district various locations. We had a dog jack russell with us. Long walks available behind the lodge. Very pleasant place.
The cottage is very near to the sea at Millom. It is a nice little cottage and clearly efforts have been made recently to update it making it quite cosy and comfy. Tom (owner) seems like a really nice guy 😊
Sherry and Lauren were friendly and very accommodating. The double room is large and well furnished with a chair, fridge, fan and microwave. Good location for exploring coastal areas and the Lake District.
Lovely homely feel with good amenities, everything you needed from a home from home. Great location to explore the nation parks, sea front and bike rides. Close to supermarkets and shops.
Great place off the beaten track, close to the beach. A good bit to stay to explore the lake district. Comfortable and clean, loved the funky artwork 👌 big comfortable bed 😄
