Excellent stay, thank you very much. The property is spacious, modern and clean. Very relaxing, cosy, beautifully furnished, bed was very comfortable. Judith and Ben were lovely and welcoming but not overbearing. I had a fantastic stay and would struggle to find anything to fault. Excellent and friendly communication prior to arrival in terms of arrival time, directions etc.

We did not know about the music festival. We called the hotel driving down the M6 on a 300 mile journey. Karen told us no parking and no dinner. When we arrived she had reserved an outside space to park but no food or bar Karen was apologetic and very helpful.

Middlewich is a small town with a few town centre pubs and restaurants. Not very far from the town, there are walks along the canal path with a busy working lock. There are two pubs adjacent to the canal, one which serves food. It was a pleasant way to spend a sunny spring day.

Loved the place it was OK for our stay and we could compare both rooms one was bijou and modern for our daughters and ours a large family suite. You could hear the road traffic but I can sleep on a washing line so it didn't affect any of us. The staff were so helpful and happy in their work.

I didn't really see much of Middlewich as I had an itinerary in Nantwich already organised. You will need transport to see any of the local sights, although I suspect there could be lots of local walks (but I haven't confirmed this).
Location is perfect, just outside the centre of Middlewich and an easy walk into the town. Walk in the opposite direction along the canal path and there's a working lock just a short walk away. There's a gastropub where you can watch the narrow boats negotiating the lock from the veranda of the pub. The landlady of the Newton Brewery Inn is very helpful and friendly and the drinks were very reasonable prices. There is a very large beer garden leading down to the canal with very picturesque walks along the tow path.
Exceptional value for money. Best, most user friendly hotel shower I have encountered globally. Cooked breakfast was very good, and better than most hotel ones I have had. The room was good all round and the amount of quality furniture and storage was more then adequate for a long stay. David and staff very welcoming and helpful. The Bears Paw pub reateaurant they suggested was a gem. Location is a bit isolated amoungst farmland and the smell from the nearby dairy farm ia occasionally apparant in variable wind.
We booked bed and breakfast for 3 nights. The first night there was a roudy party which went on until 2 am in a nearby room, we had difficulty rousing the proprietor to assist in ending this. In the morning we were told there was no breakfast available due to "the chef being ill". No offer of a refund in this respect was offered although we did ask for one which has never been received. We moved to another hotel for the third night.
Wow what a place! Judith and her partner made our stay very welcome and if you’re considering booking a hotel then don’t as this place has everything you could need. The Annex was very clean and tidy, all the important things you need are provided and you have amazing countryside to explore. Will definitely like to book again :)
Very pretty location with nice garden to chill in after a long drive. Caroline and Clive were incredibly helpful and great hosts. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Would go again if we are in the area, much nicer than sterile hotel chains you find dotted around.
The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was really easy and nice to use.
The TV worked surprisingly well, other hotels have TV's that don't work as well.
The tea and coffee were a nice touch.
Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice.
Easy to find and convenient for our reasons for visiting.
Lots of space inside and outside the hotel was appreciated
