Location of the hotel is very helpful given it's in the city centre and almost right across the Manchester Piccadilly railway station. Taxis, both Uber and local, are available all the time in plenty and we made full use of that. Local high street and malls are located at a walking distance.
The whole decor of the hotel is very fresh and contemporary. I guess it has been refurbished in the recent past. Lobby is very inviting. The staff is very polite. Hosekeeping is fantastic; towels are replaced everyday.

Manchester is a very family-friendly city.
Manchester is a very family-friendly city. We travelled with a toddler and there was plenty to do. The sand playground and Mayfield Park playground are both excellent. The Science and Industry Museum is fun for kids and free entry. We did a river cruise which our little one enjoyed and was safe for him. The buses and trams are frequent, inexpensive and reliable. We took a bus from the city centre to the Trafford Plaza to visit the lego centre and sea life aquarium.

I just have to say, Manchester and its immediate surroundings are absolutely bursting with some of the most incredible art galleries and museums! I mean, we're talking about the Museum of Science and Industry, People's History Museum, Manchester Museum, Imperial War Museum North, and the National Football Museum, to name just a few. And that's not all – there's also the Manchester Art Gallery, Whitworth Art Gallery, Lowry Art Gallery, and Home, and let's not forget the stunning Rylands Library. The area is just brimming with remarkable architecture too, from the Cathedral to the Town Hall. It's a true paradise for art and culture lovers!

The hotel was very central & very clean.
The hotel was very central & very clean.
Staff were excellent especially Muneebah.
When I arrived I told her I never go in lifts as I am claustrophobic but unfortunately the bedrooms start on the 8th floor. She offered to come in with me & said everytime I wanted to come down or up a member of staff would come with me.Worked tremendous & I thank her very much.
Very nice spacious hotel and good rooms with views over canals. Lovely peaceful location with easy access to Manchester City Centre, as well as walking distance to Lowry Gallery & Theatre plus Media City and Salford Quays eating/drinking and shopping. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Also fabulous staff who work super hard and keep everyone happy - even when 90% of the guests turn up at the same time for breakfast and pile their plates sky high with everything they can lay their hands on!
This is a stunning hotel from the moment you walk through the door. The decor and attention to detail have been excelled and you can tell everything is bespoke. Every little detail has been thought out even down to a glass of champagne while check in is arranged. Its a beautiful space for any interior lover and the furniture and spaces are stunning. The staff here are probably the best I’ve had in any city centre hotel. If you get the chance to stay it’s a must do in Manchester.
Absolutely fantastic!! Great location, 2 minute walk to the tram stop, a few stops to the city centre, direct line to the co op live arena... walk to media City and around Salford Quays... staff at the hotel are all lovely and very helpful... comfortable beds... we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after check out to spend our last day in Manchester before leaving that evening...
The location is fairly close to the airport but not close to the city centre for anyone who is interested is having a better connection to Manchester central. The nearest bus takes about 35 minutes to get to the centre. The only thing I liked about our room was the lighting in the bathroom and how easily the toilet would flush.
