I havent visited for a while and the town has changed beyond recognition and not in a good way. The tatty areas are still tatty and a lot of new, soulless development has been plonked into the town. The new road system is incomprehensible. Any good things to look at are hard to find. I never want to go back! Even the Great Central Railway is hidden in a grimy back street, with no parking. Go to the Quorn station instead - lots of parking and 2 cafes.

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

lovely village of Quorn great pubs and restaurants
within 10 minutes walk of hotel
15 mins from space centre well worth a visit and steam railway close by for day trips
The Monk in Quorn very nice restaurant.
Meal at hotel was excellent
staff very helpful.
Friendly staff, quick to show to room.
You have to go out of pub and it was a separate room direct onto street. Location to City Centre and Great Central Railway (purpose of visit to Loughborough) is great (Town 10-15 mins, GCR <5 mins)
Room very clean, tidy, comfy bed (except for thin duvet, see below) and there was tea and coffee.
Great location for visiting Loughborough university as the hotel is in the campus grounds.
Lively bar
Good buffet style breakfast
Reception staff were very helpful with booking taxis and dining recommendations
All the staff were very friendly. Room was small but very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was a pleasure, excellent food. Located close to Loughborough town centre, in the most historic part.
Pleasant helpful staff, comfortable bed, convenient location for Loughborough/university and wider countryside, and, a wide variety of quality breakfast products. Overall, a good value hotel.
