Location of the hotel is great because you can walk from here into the city. Their car park is next to the hotel and easy to find. The use of the thermal area was wonderful and breakfast selection very good. Most of all the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. Great shopping centre too - Dunne’s is a great shop !

There is a lot of history to learn of particular interest to the British from the first settlement to the present day. To appreciate the city it is necessary to walk everywhere- over the peace bridge, along the road with the murals in Bogside, around the Guildhall, walk the city walls and visit museums etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically).
We had just an overnight & until the following early afternoon. Will definitely be returning!

We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.

We booked and paid for the hot tub and didn’t even use it as as soon as we checked in we leave and tried to find a better hotel
I also asked for champagne and sweets on arrival as you are not aloud to bring your own drink and we didn’t revive any thing

The trip to Derry/Londonderry exceeded our high expectations. The city is steeped in history - nowhere in Ireland/Northern Ireland was history more present and relevant to us than in Derry/Londonderry. The LegenDerry B&B is right on top of all of this history - steps to the walled city and steps to the sites of key events at the start of the Troubles. Our hosts were excellent ambassadors for their city. The facility was clean and comfortable, and a good part of our memorable visit to Derry/Londonderry.
2 queen beds were very comfortable. Enough chairs for both of us to sit and watch tv, plus one other. Big towels, and nice toiletries. Fridge. Quiet carpeted corridors and self closing doors. Ground floor room was easy for our dog. Could open the windows to air the room. Hotel is quite a walk from the city centre but it is at the end of the quay trail which is a pleasant stroll by the river and a place to execise the dog
We completely LOVED this hotel! It was gorgeous and we had such an incredible room! The attention to detail was really lovely. We were both blown away again and again. The staff were also super nice and very attentive. They answered all of our questions and even gave us some ideas of what to do about parking since parking in the area can be incredibly difficult. We would love to stay here again.
Perfect location for tours, travel hubs and city centre nearby. The hotel was brilliant. Super room and facilities. Restaurant was extremely good and breakfast was perfect to start the day. Very courteous staff. Helpful and made our stay comfortable. Highly recommend City Hotel. Always a great experience when visit. Excellent entertainment and deals over Christmas and will visit again soon.
Ryan at the reception desk went out of his way to welcome me to Derry and gave me a map and highlighted a couple of the spots I wanted to visit. He was so friendly and is a true asset to the hotel. Max in the bar was also brilliant, a very attentive waiter and very well trained, impeccable, like he had worked in a michelin restaurant previously.
The woman working the front desk was WONDERFUL - kind, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and good sense of humor. Made us feel sincerely welcome and gave wonderful tips for our visit to Northern Ireland. A true gem! The other staff we encountered was also very friendly. The hotel was clean and conveniently located.
Staff were very friendly upon arrival, very informative and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and well equipped. The hotel isn’t too far out of the centre, just a walk across the bridge. Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel, would definitely stay again.
An excellent hotel located within the city walls in Derry. Parking was easy in a lot across the street, and the reception staff was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, and our room was very comfortable. Would stay again!
Perfect location in the centre of Derry/Londonderry. The room was spotlessly clean and modern, loved the bed and the shower. A little LED light behind the headboard was cute. Effortless check-in that saves you time. Will stay again!
the staff very helpful and friendly. ready to help with anything. room great, clean, spacious, view was beautiful. vegetarian and gluten free options.hotel in the city centre, with car park or public carpark very close.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food extremely good especially the breakfast. Cooked fresh and quality ingredients. I have already recommended the hotel to friends.
Fantastic staff, really accommodating at short notice and very helpful. Beautiful hotel, that is very luxurious and perfectly situated close to the city centre.
From start to finish the staff in Shipquay hotel went the extra mile to ensure we had the best stay for my mums birthday. Thanks so much. We will be back
