Great location with parking available. Rooms were clean and comfortable (once the heating was on) and well equipped. Host was very helpful and breakfasts were great. There’s a pub just 5 mins walk away for evening meals.
Nearly 200 years old, this former inn has its own grounds and overlooks the Ashburnham golf links. With views of Gower Peninsula, it is on the edge of the Millennium coastal paths and cycle tracks.

The staff members were particularly friendly and helpful. For example, I needed an extension cable to allow me to run my CPAP machine. It was sorted out in no time.
We took advantage of the meal offer that evening, which represented excellent value and the quality of the steaks was superb!! I’ve paid a lot more, for much more inferior products and cooking.

When the weather was warm enough to have breakfast outside the view was beautiful. Breakfast was lovely.
I was there for a week so would have been nice for a cleaner to have come in at some point as it is quite pricey for a single person.
Maybe think about a slight reduction for single people as you pay the same for 2 and you're only having 1 breakfast.

Lovely beach, lots going on , such as surfing.
Please be aware to take your rubbish home as there are no bins on or near the beach due to ‘Welsh recycling laws ‘ I don’t have a problem with this and I could see when I visited early in August , people were taking their rubbish off the beach.

You need the weather to stay on Gower and we were lucky. Llangennith is only a small village so it's really all about Rhossili beach and walking in that area which doesn't disappoint! Everyone we met was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

A charming village with stunning views of the sea and the Welsh Hills.
the Kings Head is a lovely place to spend a few days. The food and the service are excellent and the staff are charming and helpful. We were lucky enough to experience warm sunshine for the three days that we stayed but I think it would still be lovely in the winter. A place that we will return to

Always a pleasure to stay in this lovely little seaside village, you can walk to 2 amazing beaches within 20-30 minutes and then sit and enjoy the sunshine (and showers!) or continue your walk over the dunes and cliffs to Blue Pool and beyond. If you fancy a challenge climb Llangenith hill and take a walk along he causeway (tidal times to be observed at all times) over to the Worms head from Rhossili.
The staff were super friendly Sam sorted taxi numbers out for us. The view from the court yard at breakfast was beautiful The staff at breakfast were very friendly made us feel so welcome, the vegetarian breakfast was fab. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and return visit ourselves
We liked everything about our stay. Excellent Room, Excellent Breakfast, Dafydd the owner is very friendly and very entertaining. Location is walking distance to the Kings Head so you have a local for food and a drink. The beautiful beach at Llangennith gives you a lovely walk to Rhossili.
A beautiful hotel inn in a glorious location. Staff made us feel very welcome and especially looking after our nervous dog with extra sausages at breakfast. Room was perfect and cannot fault it anyway
Quaint room with all the amenities you need for a short break. The Bake house has plenty of character and was a great alternative to the usual hotel room.
