Holland Hotel, hotel in Llanfachraeth

Holland Hotel has a shared lounge, restaurant, a bar and water sports facilities in Llanfachraeth.

The is a family run business and they give you a very warm welcome. It combines being a locals bar with a guest house and restaurant. The food and beer are good and the rooms are comfortable. Overall it’s great value and I would definitely stay again. Its location is ideal for a stop over on the way to the ferry at Holyhead. We were on a motorcycle trip and were pleased with the off street parking. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms lovely.

Lovely hotel & rooms. We were in “Shack” and “Beach House” - very well decorated with views of the sea (see attached photo). Nice restaurant & bar area with good food. Restaurant is popular so it’s a good idea to book in advance. 2 mins walk to beach. Nice bars and cafes close by. Great location for exploring the area.

The Holland Hotel where I stayed was lovely and clean. The room was very nice with a lovely bathroom with bath, shower etc. The room had an ironing board, iron, electric fan, if too warm and a hair dryer. Very well equipped. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice. Really enjoyed my stay there and for an excellent price for the room per night. Would recommend it and well worth it. We also ate at Valley Hotel in Valley. Very nice too.

Overall a great little place to have a nice relaxing and peaceful stay but close enough to places with lots of things to do. We headed over to Holyhead to walk over to the Marina and a little scenic walk over to the breakwater with the small lighthouse at the end. We spent a day at Trearddur Bay. Beautiful little beach with some lovely little restaurants for a bite to eat. We also ventured further over to Beaumaris. Gorgeous little seaside village with everything needed for the perfect fun packed day out with the kids. We did crabbing off the pier and visited the castle. Definitely worth a visit!
