Lovely and attentive staff. Breakfast had a good selection of options. It was also nice to enjoy the pool and spa after a day of activities. we were upgraded at no extra cost, which was lovely. the room was spacious and clean. This is one of the cleanest hotel I ever been throughout the world. I would totally recommend it

We have been coming to the Inn for over 10 years and really used to love staying hereb
. Sadly it has gone downhill mainly due to the food and service.
In a most spectacular location on the shores of England’s longest lake, Windermere, Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is the Lake District’s first resort offering a number of facilities.

The room was a good size and the bathroom huge BUT with the tiniest shower with only a rainfall head, due to the tiny cubicle it felt really suffocating, like being water boarded! not enjoyable at all and no hook to put the alternate head up on.
Breakfast was good as was the room service food and the views were AMAZING.
Felt really unhappy about paying £12/day parking when paying £200 a night for the room. Just seemed greedy and left a bad taste.
The weather made the outdoor spa experience incredible, so relaxing. loved every minute of it.

The room and hotel were beautiful, cosy, clean and very welcoming. We were disappointed with the restaurant as it was just like a pub and not a restaurant at all. In the evening the communal areas were cold. As a non drinker I felt the choice of drinks from the bar was limited. The breakfast was excellent.

Little Langdale is a beautiful area; very green and lush with incredible views of the hills and different landscapes. It's very peaceful, lots of walkers with dogs and fewer vehicles than other more well-know areas around the Lakes. There are short, easy walks to Cathedral Cave (well worth visiting) or longer walks around the area.
The Three Shires in is a perfect spot to stay, with lovely rooms, great food and a charming, flowery, beer garden looking out over hills, trees and delightful local cottages.

A fabulous hotel in a wonderful location, the owners and front of house team are incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and the bed super comfortable, the restaurant has a great selection to choose from and the quality of food top notch, the bar area cosy and the outside seating area a lovely place to enjoy the views with a pint, faultless experience and our new 'home' in the Lakes, a special thanks Tony and Lee.
Breakfast is excellent. Dry cured bacon and poached eggs to perfection. Staff are unfailingly helpful from moment of arrival. Place is everything. It’s a fantastic base to explore Little Langdale and gets away from the jamboree of Ambleside etc.
Convenient location for south Lake District. Lovely comfortable cosy hotel and bar with very helpful, friendly and hospitable staff
Interesting menu with excellent food and drink. Great packed lunches available.
Highly recommended.
An excellent hotel in a beautiful location both pleasingly remote but easy to reach.Friendly but discreet.Beautifully comfortable clean and cosy.Tip top .Sunday lunch was superb.
