Breakfast was pre ordered the night before & was in the attached cafe- located through the hotel so no different to a usual restaurant. Could order what you wanted, price varied I think.
We all had the traditional cooked breakfast & for us the food was excellent, well cooked & tasty.
Not the traditional bacon, but was still very good & would have again.
Cereals were available, we just had enough with the hot food, served to our table.
Lovely friendly staff, very keen to please.
Large car park at the rear, free to guests- book in at reception.
Lovely location, next to Cleveland Way. Another time would like a longer stay so we could have a walk too, not just visit friends.
Rooms adequate. Lots of furniture so was a bit cramped. Comfortable bed. Clean sizable shower, pressure a bit low. All very clean.

The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was superb (I had duck confit in hoisin sauce) and the breakfast was well cooked and presented, just right for a long days walk that I had ahead.
