Beechlawn Hotel, hotel in Lisburn

Just 10 minutes from Belfast’s vibrant city centre, The Beechlawn Hotel offers large, colourful bedrooms. With an international restaurant, there is also free private parking.

The breakfast was good but not amazing. Both my son and I like to eat fruit in the morning and this was very poor. Other than that, good choice of cereals and cooked breakfast available on request. The hotel had a restaurant attached. We eat there a few of times. Comfortable beds and very clean. The ensuite was very good. The hotel has free car park which was ideal as I had a rental car. The reception staff were helpful. On the whole this is a good hotel.

Lisburn is a nice town with plenty of shops and places to eat. Most of the attractions are closed this time of year but the local park is well worth a nice walk around and the town itself has a friendly atmosphere. If driving, there is a one way system in place which can be a little confusing to navigate at times but it is well serviced with public transport.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports. It offers plenty of restaurants, services and shops. It's also a thriving community with churches, schools, hospital, charity shops and parks, including a river walk and castle grounds plus a linen museum. Bigger shops such M&S and B&Q are on the outskirts. But the little proprietary shops are gems. There are frequent buses and trains to Belfast if you need a city (and nightlife) and some gorgeous parks not far by car. There are plenty of B&Bs in the farmlands around Lisburn but if you stay in Lisburn itself you won't need a car.

Great location for me in pandemic situation as it allowed me to visit my 85 year old mother for the first time in 18 months providing some respite for my sister while allowing me to meet the government guidelines. Comfortable property. Warm and cosy with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private parking was a bonus.

Overdale is a friendly clean motel in Lisburn. There is plenty of off-road parking. The rooms are warm and well decorated. The breakfast is excellent. You can even have avocado. It is in a residential area about two miles from the centre of Lisburn. Public transport is poor on a Sunday. There is a lack of readily available taxis. The Railway connections are cheap and frequent to Belfast centre

Excellent breakfast. Great location: easy to commute to and from; quiet and thus perfect for a night of rest after a day spent in the area. Having done a couple of roadtrips around Ireland in the past, I visited a few B&Bs and I have to say that this one is BY FAR the best kept: the place is well built, it is kept clean and tidy, and the owners are a lovely couple, always ready to help.

The house is exceptional, well presented and clean but absolutely gorgeous. The location was perfect, central to everything we needed. The host left a basket of goodies to welcome us which was incredible. We will stay here again, it was great to know this place existed because anytime we are back in Lisburn we would love to stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed here as a stop off. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was spotless. The staff couldn't of been nicer. It was a very short drive to Belfast City. Stunning views from the restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. Actually considered cancelling our hotel in the city to stay here longer instead but they were booked up.

We liked the location because it was out of the city area but still close enough to explore it. It’s a cottage on a small farm/reception venue that offers everything you need. A well equipped kitchen for cooking, good heating, lounge area with TV/streaming and a washing machine. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

The host was so welcoming & hospitable. The apartment was so cosy & fully equipped. We loved the quiet location, yet Lisburn & Belfast were within 20 mins drive. We have visited Belfast many times, but always stayed in or close to the centre. Drumbo View was a pleasant change for us.

Very large room with lovely sitting area. Garden areas outside are pretty, be careful of broken wood on garden treads. Breakfast is early but very quickly served after you order. Help staff is pleasant. There is a fridge to store milk etc in the bar room which was helpful.
