Location is within a working vineyard in a pretty bit of English countryside. Rooms are immaculate but the format is quite similar to a motel, with a strangely incoherent design philosophy - a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Food is pretty good. There's nothing to do unless you want to do the wine tasting at further expense.

The room (a Superior) double, was very good size, however, the bathroom was much too small ! - & disappointed. However, this did not spoil our stay - the overall ambiance of this 'quaint' hotel surfaced, and the staff and food proved second to none !

Lovely old inn in country side with a great beer garden. Basic accommodation with Comfy beds, ceilings low as expected in old building but ok for us. Very good value for money
