Had a lovely stay, and the staff were polite and pleasant . Amazing breakfast with plenty of choice . I would definitely stay again .
Excellent 3 bed cottage in a brilliant location. Really close to Windermere and Cartmel. The cottage has a large reception and dining room. There is an outdoor seated area with lights for sitting out in the evening.
On street parking isn't great because of narrow village roads but there is some available. Also a private parking space at the side of the cottage.
Bedrooms are all a good size with the double bedrooms both having enough suite shower and toilet. Large main bathroom.
Kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine also.
Lake Windermere is around 10 minutes drive.

It is in a great location, a short drive from many places in the Lake District. There's only a small post office with short opening hours but it's only a 5-min drive to Grange which has more places to shop. The local pub was friendly and the food was great. There are a few walks to do in and around the village.

Lindale is a very pleasant place.
Lindale is a very pleasant place. I travelled there to see family who live in Lindale. I don't drive but you are not far away from Windermere or Grange-over-Sands. There are buses go to Grange and Kendal and there are a few pleasant walks around the village.
