Property was large and mix between modern and traditional. Wooden floors and open stone work was nice.

The staff here are absolutely exceptional. They made our trip really special and we had more than one hiccup (needed a jump start for the car and concert tickets printing out). Nothing was too much trouble and they really went out of their way. Was probably the best level of service I’ve ever had from hotel staff.

We stayed in Copper Beach Cottage, it was in the perfect location to unwind and relax. Our host Joanne was very welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the bed was really comfortable and we braved the bath outside, which was lovely and warm on a cold February night with the added bonus of listening to an owls call. Everything you could need is supplied for the benefit of enjoying your stay. It was worth a visit and we hope to stay again.

Lanark is lovely and historic. We were there during Lanimers, which was great to see. Prego has lovely food.
Close to Clydeside for scenic drives and a wee tea. Close for shopping at Livingston outlet mall. In between Edinburgh and Glasgow too.

We are Lanarkian so we were home for Lanimer week! Always fun, and our stay at New Lanark Waterhouses is always special because the village is stunning to look at, and a fantastic area for wildlife and hiking. Don’t forget to explore the gardens at Castlebank and stroll around the Loch!

Great walks near the hotel on the nature trail - stunning views of the waterfalls! The town itself is beautiful with lots of history, and our room had a great view of the water. Loved the room, it was huge and really comfy. Will definitely be coming back.

A lovely historical town with lots of individual shops. Be sure to visit The New Lanark Model Village, which is a World Heritage Site from the 18th century. It is a Mill Village sitting alongside the picturesque River Clyde, and see the Falls while you are there.

We toured New Lanark and the Clyde River Falls. The forest there is magical and definitely worth the visit.
Though a small town, Lanark has traffic congestion problems. It seems that to go anywhere all traffic has to use the main highway through town.

Overall we loved our time at the waterfall cottages New Lanark which were quite beautiful and unique. A shuttle bus into Lanark would be a huge improvement for the business and be a good reason to choose the hotel/cottages over Lanark itself.
The Badger Walk was really lovely and more could be done to enhance this side of things with walks downstream too, which seemed to stop after the car-park. Or better map/description.
The Pool/Gym/Spa/Sauna etc. being within the cost of our stay was excellent value.
A discount (50 percent) for guests for the Mill tour would be warranted. We didn't bother with it, even though it looked good, as it was so expensive on top of the accommodation cost.
The riverside location great for watching wild life - seeing a pair of otters frollicing in the river an absolute bonus.
Saturday night a wedding reception at the hotel - but the waterhouses totally free from the noise of the band!
Used restaurant once - food and service good, but limited choice for vegetarians.
New Lanark provides easy road access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow - it would help potential guests to know about the free parking at the park&ride at Ingliston, and the inexpensive and frequent tram to central Edinburgh.
My key at room info were on the desk at reception along with a breakfast proforma. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and bed with tea and coffee. Breakfast was freshly cooked and most satisfying. I've stayed at the Equi several times and will do so again if I am in the area of New Lanark. The Equi is based on a riding school - I did not avail myself of there services - but it would be ideal for those who are looking for a riding holiday
The Annexe Cottage is a spacious home with a separate lounge room, separate kitchen meals area and large bedrooms. On site parking was provided, there was also a washing machine and clothesline.. It was located about 10 minutes from New Lanark and Lanark township so it was easy to get groceries and provisions. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Parking on site was also great.
The apartment was stylish and spotless. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. It was in an amazing place so in the centre of Lanark 10m from the train station and so close to shops. The Hostess incredibly sweet getting in touch before we got there offering advice on the local area and advising on booking a restaurant.
Alan was the perfect host- interesting to talk to and very friendly.
The accommodations are very up to date and just lovely. Breakfast was delicious - could not ask for anything more!
The area is peaceful and beautiful . Sheep grazing on rolling green hills. I would love to return sometime.
The Waterhouse was so spacious and the location was perfect. The hotel facilities are excellent and I wish we had gone to check them out sooner.
The water houses are also really well catered for in terms of the kitchen area. Fully recommend
This was an amazing property with a hot tub on the second floor balcony , comfortable bed, excellent shower, a sitting area and a large dining table. Our hostess was so accommodating and friendly.
Beautiful big room and breakfast. A separate lounge area. Very genial and helpful host. He even made dinner reservations for us. Great place to stay in the Lanark area. We loved it.
A cozy and luxurious hideaway in an architecturally interesting town. Excellent full Scottish breakfast, welcoming hosts. I can't imagine a better place to stay in the area.
Location to the surrounding countryside was excellent, as a native Lanarkian having a visit home, it was priceless. Nice to visit with the horses living at the farm
Everything! This place is excellant in every category. Pool is a good size and temperature for training given thatit is a hotel spar. 18m I would think.
