The property was very close to the town centre and the docks which made it easier to find our way around. Even if it was above a bar, we went on Tuesday-Thursday so wasn’t too lively and actually enjoyed hearing the music at night. The staff were also brilliant and very friendly.

Plenty for kids to do, seal show was fab and enjoyed the train ride around the park seeing some of the animals, plenty of kiosks for ice creams and places to sit in with shade as weather was red hot, clean toilets with disabled facilities. Loved the drive round the animals, with a lucky escape with the monkeys 😊

as a wheelchair user we were given a ground floor room which was appreciated but the lack of fresh air was suffocating at times as the air con was not sufficient.A small refrigerator would have been useful

Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there.
Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there. I expected more from initial pictures shown on booking.com. Shower and taps was hard to use. Then water pressure coming out of the shower head was so hard that my 10 years old son did not like as it hurt him.

This is the 4th time I’ve stayed at this hotel, however it is becoming tired. The breakfast was sub standard cheap bacon and sausage. Limited service due to COVID-19 which I totally understand. Safe was broke in the room which I would of liked to have used but not essential.
The staff are always very friendly and really helpful for that I would still return.

The hotel is in the middle of a noisy industrial area. Police sirens blasting out throughout the night. Pretty awful location and a tired, run down hotel with lots of faulty equipment. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Disgusting Place staff vile absolutely no customer service skills there was a dump in my toilet room was dirty had a vile smell milk was off made me go sick for 2 hours straight woke up in the morning with all bites all over my body
I liked sound isolation between rooms. I was worried about this but I was wrong. The location was convenient for us as we wanted to see a bit of Liverpool and catch a flight from Manchester Airport. staff seemed busy but they were nice and friendly to guests. it’s perfect for a short stay.
The bedroom suite was large with a living space and a seperate bedroom including a fridge and all tea/Coffee facilities. Great location from Liverpool. This hotel has so much potential to be an unbelievable 5star hotel and spa if it just pumped money into it.
Easy communication with owner. Super roomy and comfortable, felt right at home! So much better than staying at a hotel. Throws on bed we’re comfy and thick, duck feather cushions, Netflix on tv, shops and takeaways nearby. Lovely!
We liked everything about the hotel. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we got the most out of our stay. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choices. The room was spotless and free wifi was a welcome bonus
lovely, clean, spacious rooms. hotel staff really friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and great food. Pool was really warm and relaxing. steam room is huge and spot on, sauna good too.
Friendly staff, comfortable good value hotel. Bathroom a little "tired" but everything worked fine. Good breakfast, limited evening menu if you are too lazy to go out to local pub or restaurant. Would stay again.
Poor unattractive ambiancewith lukewarm hot food and little effort to maintain supply of food. Serious deterioration in standards since majority of hotel taken for Home Office Contract.
