A perfect one night stay. I needed accommodation at short notice in Carlisle /Penrith area and didn’t want to stay in national chains.
So glad I found this . It was in a rural location but still close enough to major routes. The staff were friendly, room clean and tidy. Great home cooked food on the menu and for breakfast the chef even arrived early when I said I would be leaving before the breakfast opening times. A perfect stay and will definitely be back.

This was a great little inn that we found for some much needed downtime after a long hike. The girls that run the bar, restaurant absolutely made the place. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Despite a busy restaurant in the evening they fitted us in for a delicious meal and the breakfast the following morning was smashing.
