Location was great for our golfing trip playing at Coxmoor and Notts (Holinwell) Golf Clubs. Plenty of room to relax and recover.
Everything worked and a nice big kitchen for us to eat and drink together.
In 26 acres of landscaped gardens, this hotel is 10 minute walk from central Eastwood, the birthplace of DH Lawrence. It has a fitness centre, outdoor tennis court, indoor swimming pool and sauna.

It was clean , well designed and was set in beautiful grounds . Despite being large it was easy to navigate around . The rooms were spacious , the beds were huge and the linen was luxurious. Sometimes in large hotels it can be noisy in the evenings with people finding their rooms but in this case it was really quiet . The spa needs an upgrade to be in line with the quality of the rest of the hotel but is OK and was a relaxing treat . The staff were really helpful and friendly. Everyone said hello and smiled . Thanks for a lovely break .

Plenty of parking. First floor room, reasonable size though room itself a little tired. Bed was firm but comfortable. Bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water & good shower. Strong WiFi. Tea and coffee in room. Good choice of cereals, toast and cooked breakfast (which wasn't huge but nicely cooked and served quickly).
