It was self catering. We loved the buildings, the facilities, the ambience, the gardens, the pool, the games provided. The ducks, the squirrels, the ponds. It was a brilliant break and we were made to feel very welcome. This is a very special place.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful establishment and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The food was not only tasty but also plentiful, making each breakfast a pleasant experience.
The cleanliness of the place was commendable. It was very clean and tidy which added to the overall comfort of my stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day.
A special mention must be made of John who was most helpful during our stay. He provided us with all the necessary information and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. His assistance greatly enhanced our experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this place for its excellent food, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and outstanding service. I would have no hesitation in staying again.

A beautiful building and garden, the welcome was warm with tea and freshly baked cakes.
Fiona is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast had so much choice, cooked to order, home baked bread.....
Fiona was very kind and welcoming to my rescue dog. Taffy loved being on the farm and fell for one of the labs.
With Fiona's family being as welcoming it felt as though I was part of the family.
Thank you Fiona I've had a really relaxing holiday and we will definitely visit again .

Hotel good location in lovely grounds. Room nice enough, but the bed needs to be renewed, our mattress had hollows where it had been used often. Dog friendly hotel and there were a few there. Dinner was ok but I think its pretending to be something it's not with a talk through of the menu, and explanation of the chef and his Italian wife. I thought the breakfast was not great,(I like the buffet) but my husband liked it (he likes the cooked breakfast), so a matter of opinion. I didn't think there was enough of a buffet. One thing though that I thought odd was that breakfast finished at 9.45am, we arrived a 9.20am and the food was not being replenished although my husband did get some of the cooked breakfast, more than a couple who arrived after us. The brown bread ran out, as did the white but the white bread was topped up with a few slices more. Staff pleasant and helpful.
