It was fantastic from start to finish, everyone was polite and helpful. The rooms were spotless and beds extremely comfortable.

I like the Brantwood for the staff, but it is getting rather tired especially the room we stayed in.
Food is good but got wrong order, which they offered to change, but we were tired and hungry by then and didn’t want to wait.

A perfect one night stay. I needed accommodation at short notice in Carlisle /Penrith area and didn’t want to stay in national chains.
So glad I found this . It was in a rural location but still close enough to major routes. The staff were friendly, room clean and tidy. Great home cooked food on the menu and for breakfast the chef even arrived early when I said I would be leaving before the breakfast opening times. A perfect stay and will definitely be back.

Reception staff were fantastic, really polite, friendly and welcoming. Very willing to help when asked questions regarding parking and nearby locations. Hotel and room were very clean, great bar area and facilities were perfect for a budget stay. We'll worth the price. Room was comfortable, clean and well kept. Great location, close to the town and nearby attractionsaswell as having penrith castle literally on the doorstep.
