Nicely welcomed on arrival. Told lift not working, would we like to be transferred to a room on first floor instead of allocated room on second (yes please). Toaster in breakfast room not working properly, I had to be shown what to do. Interesting bread for toasting, not standard sliced.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room itself was very compact, but had all that I needed, and was cleverly designed to accommodate a small hanging rail, coffee table with coffee machine, angled mirror, hairdryer in a bag hanging from a hanger. There was even an iron and ironing board.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely, with high end fittings.
