The guest house is opposite the iconic Ironbridge. Our room had a view of the bridge itself. The room was comfortable and clean. It had a small fridge with complimentary wine and soft drinks. Cake, some biscuits, tea, coffee and milk were provided. We slept well. Secure and free car park. Staff and owner were friendly. Bag storage available.
In 5 acres of woodland overlooking the World Heritage Site Ironbridge Gorge, Ladywood House offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from the town’s riverside pubs and restaurants.

We've been to Ironbridge twice before and love it.
We've been to Ironbridge twice before and love it. Lots to do and see in and around.
We've stayed B&B previously but now prefer the flexibility of self-catering accommodation (although we didn't self-cater). It's good to be able to relax with a netflix film or a DVD and good if you want a takeaway rather than eating out.
I am obsessive about cleanliness and most place we've been I wash everything before we use it (ie cups, plates, cutlery etc.) but this apartment was so clean I did not feel the need.

The town itself is ok, it was our second visit there and we found if you want to eat out, best to go further afield, the Woodbridge Inn at Coalport is worth a visit.
From a historical point of Ironbridge is a very good place to stay,it is very close to Blist's Hill Victorian Village (our 2nd visit) and also the Black Country Living Museum - brilliant. On a previous trip we have been to the Darby House and Ironbridge Museum.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful and if you have time there are some lovely walks to go on.

Give yourself a good few hours to visit Jackfield Tile Museum, it is a real treat. Lots to see in the museum. A church to visit (we didn't have time as we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon) where you could have seen the Tiling used.
We had food at The White Heart and The Malthouse, both were great. But The Malthouse called last orders at 8.00pm on Sunday.
Signage is easy when you know but can be confusing at first. Sat Nav got lost. 20 mile speed limit through town.

Always loved Iron Bridge.Plenty to do and loads of places to see All within 1 to 3 miles.
Go to the George Museum and by a museum multi pass, you save a lot especially with family pass.
There are seven museum sites . Coalport, Blisthill, Tile museum are top ove my list. Much more to see.
Great river and country walks.plenty pubs and Good restaurants. Always something going on.
We very much enjoyed our stay at The Swan Taphouse. The building is quite old, so that it fits in well with the historic nature of the Ironbridge area. Our room had a nice view of the River Severn. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in Ironbridge. We also enjoyed walking a little further to the excellent museums in Coalbrookdale and Coalport. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, which were served at a neighboring hotel, were very good. Overall, excellent value for money.
Nothing. The reason I have given it such an awful review is because it caught fire 6 weeks ago and the place is a virtual shell. However you were still advertising it last week when I booked and obviously by asking me for this review you still seem oblivious of the fact that it had burned down. In fact I stayed at the nearby Swan Hotel who had taken over the Malthouse business. The Swan was fine. I suggest that you (booking. com) get your own house in order and stop advertising a hotel that burned down 6 weeks ago.
Roadside location on edge of town, only yards from bank of River Severn; plenty of parking and less than 10 minutes walk from the famous bridge. All staff very friendly and efficient. Room was much larger than we expected, with balcony (with table and chairs) overlooking riverside. Well-stocked bar and extensive wine list. Nouvelle cuisine dinner, nicely presented and served. Good quality buffet-style breakfast, served from screened area of bar. Amazing ceramic tiling on inside walls and main staircase.
Comfortable cottage, everything provided including tea and coffee with milk in the fridge. The location was perfect, quiet area but with a relatively easy walk to the main attractions of Ironbridge. The information sent prior to our stay was very useful. Although there is no parking at the cottage, there was a parking bay not far away but during our stay there were no available spaces here, luckily we were able to park in the local pub but if this was not an option parking could be an issue for guests.
A warm welcome from the two ladies who greeted me.
The room was comfortable and pleasant.
Very lovely bed.
Beautiful bird song from outside in the morning, followed by breakfast included just a couple of doors down at their sister hotel, which was a lovely English breakfast which they were able to make vegan for me. Really lovely staff here too.
The location was fantastic, right by the river and lots of walking available as well as the Ironbridge gorge museums.
Would stay again!
Lovely place to stay and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, James & Sarah. My partner enjoyed a good full English breakfast every morning, while I opted for the healthier options on offer! Excellent location for visiting the Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale Museums. We walked into Ironbridge most evenings and found a variety of places where we could enjoy a good meal or have a drink or two. Super holiday!
The view of the infamous Iron Bridge was stunning, especially at night along with the Christmas lights. The rooms had a lot of extras, such as wine, pieces of cake and with a well stocked fridge with water and fruit juice. I have stayed in hotels that offer less than this Bed and Breakfast. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful part of Shropshire.
I can honestly say, this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, the cleanliness, decor, location and very friendly staff are perfect, the little fridge in reception with bottles of milk for guests is a great feature, especially if you enjoy a few brews in your room, for anyone wishing to visit Ironbridge I would highly recommend staying here.
All food (breakfasts and evening meals) was exceptionally good. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The Foundry Master's House is a happy cross between a friendly B&B and a small boutique hotel. The location, a couple of hundred metres from the main Ironbridge Gorge museums and easy walking distance from Ironbridge town, was perfect for our stay.
The White Hart is in a pretty building, tastefully decorated, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable, it is right in the heart of Ironbridge. The food was great for evening meals and the breakfast (included) was delicious and copious. Our server was cheery and charming and the rest of the staff were welcoming and accommodating.
Wonderful hosts Dawn and Danny. Able to answer any questions we had, very helpful
Lovely location near to the museums we wished to visit.
Able to walk into Ironbridge
Breakfast was fantastic and nice to speak with people around the table
We had a evening meal and that was superb
Comfortable room with plenty of hot water
A lovely cottage situated in a lovely private garden. cottage is well appointed and very comfortable. close to a walking path that leads to the Ironbridge and town centre. we booked for 2 nights and were totally satisfied with the accommodation and the local sights. Thankyou Steve and Michelle!
Everything went well from start to finish, the host sent me a text message on the morning of arrival with a map, so the place was easy to find. It was a perfect location for us as we were attending a wedding in Ironbridge, the reception was at the Best Western hotel which was only 300 yds away!
lovely comfortable room with everything in there you need for an enjoyable stay. located in the heart of ironbridge so within east reach to all restaurants and pubs. great view your of the river and bridge, can’t wait to return.
This is a real gem with a magnificent view of the Iron Bridge. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Off-street parking was a short distance away in a secure location.
Good location, walking distance to Ironbridge and the pubs and cafe's. Nicely laid out hotel that looks a bit different to most Best Westerns. Good breakfast. Plenty of free parking.
This a beautiful bed and breakfast with a lovely and attentive host. There was a clear view from the room of the bridge. Perfect for seeing Ironbridge and the surrounding area.
The apartment was impeccable, the location on the River Severn breathtakingly beautiful. Close to town, but it felt very remote. Could not have asked for more.
