The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, hotel in Ingram

We would like to introduce you to The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, a decadent place where colours collide, and imaginations are captured.

Couldn’t have asked for a better couple of nights at Charlton Hall topped off with an engagement after a day at Bamburgh beach! Room was lovely and spacious with real attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely, gorgeous pastries and hot breakfasts - would recommend the eggs Benedict! Great choice of drinks and intimate bar area where we had drinks both nights. Grounds were lovely for a wander too. We will definitely be back!

White Swan Inn, hotel in Ingram

Located in Warenford, 8 km from Bamburgh, White Swan Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. All rooms include a flat-screen TV.

Cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean with nice little extras in the room such as gowns, amazing homemade cakes and a small “tipple!”, none of which we would normally expect in a hotel in this price bracket. Great value for money. Food, both breakfast and dinner, was phenomenal. Really imaginative menus, superbly presented and perfectly cooked. Again far better than we had expected. Really dog friendly, our Golden Retriever had so much fuss made of him!

Ingram is a good base being close to main roads for access to the Northumberland area and the main sights. The place is simply a farm with nice places to stay in a quiet location. Its on the edge of Breamish National Park, so a beautiful area. However we had limited time and so mostly visited the bigger attractions of Cragside and Bamburgh Castle. We did explore a little and found a walk around the local lake was lovely with wildlife and few other people.

Perfect location and base for visiting local attractions and relaxing. The choice of food and wine were excellent, as was the attention from Staff. Rooms above The Bosk are exceptional. We didn't have time to try the many other facilities but they all looked excellent. Very tranquil surroundings and good for walking in farmland-type lanes.

Staff are great, nothing too much trouble. Food delicious and masses of it. Leisure facilities are great with private changing rooms, great pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms are big with lovely bathrooms and it is so quiet - great nights sleep! Will be back for a longer visit
