The location looking over the harbour was lovely. Not many places to eat around the harbour other than chips. Would have liked meat and vegetables. Bus service was very good and the walks were great. The cafe round the corner was an excellent start to the day.

Our accommodation was in perfect spot as walking distance to town/harbour and shops. Found an amazing Italian restaurant (Giovanni & Luca) with wonderful food, also went to Terrace Tapas & Wine Bar - again great food and great hosts. If the weather had been better we might have stayed longer. Nice array of shops with 2 supermarkets a bonus!

Ilfracombe has the potential to be a great seaside town, but the building stock is not in great condition. We had an odd experience of not being able to get a proper meal for the entire 2 days we stayed here. Restaurant kitchens closed at 7:30 pm. Most places were serving nibbles only so we basically ate nibbles only for 2 days in Ilfracombe. The coastal path is great to walk, but the beaches are not very pretty and they all have crying children and loud, barking dogs on them.

A pleasant, slightly old fashioned seaside resort.
A pleasant, slightly old fashioned seaside resort. A good mixture of amenities, with things to do on a wet day. The staff in the shops and cafes anxious to be helpful and friendly. There is a reasonable amount of car parking close to the sea and harbour.

It was busy at the time of our visit so that made for a great atmosphere.
Lots of things to do and see and certainly enough to keep us occupied for two days such as crazy golf and funfair but if you didn’t like that then you could walk up the cliff tops or along the sea wall
It was old in places but that gave the town character.
Very enjoyable stay.
Everything about the stay was exceptional. The room was clean and tidy the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The hotel location provided exceptional views and everything was in walking distance (however please note Ilfracombe isn't flat it's very hilly).
The house was in a great private location with sea views from the large terrace and bed! It was well equipped inside with a lovely log burner, tv and WiFi perfect for any rainy days. It was a short 5 min walk down to Ilfracombe harbour where you have multiple pubs, shops and public art.
The beautiful flat is spacious, cozy and clean. Kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has a very good shower. The location is perfect, in a quiet area with parking nearby, close to the shops, the harbour and restaurants.
