The state room was exactly what we expected. You felt that you were going back in time. We loved to just wonder around the castle and a perfect night.
Staff very friendly and as previous reviews state if your looking for luxury over history this is maybe not for you. It was quite the experience for us

As I was travelling solo it was good to feel more like a house guest than a client in an impersonal hotel.
