This place is a great combination of traditional and modern. It's a lovely old pub with an atmospheric bar and great draught beer, located in a pretty village. Tucked away in the garden behind are modern and very comfortable bedrooms, well equipped and with good quality shower rooms. The menus list mainly traditional pub food, simple but superbly well cooked and presented. Brilliant fish and chips, for example. We also loved the fantastic views over the rolling North Devon hills. This is a rare find in North Devon and outstanding value for money

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful establishment and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The food was not only tasty but also plentiful, making each breakfast a pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the place was commendable. It was very clean and tidy which added to the overall comfort of my stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day. A special mention must be made of John who was most helpful during our stay. He provided us with all the necessary information and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. His assistance greatly enhanced our experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend this place for its excellent food, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and outstanding service. I would have no hesitation in staying again.

A beautiful building and garden, the welcome was warm with tea and freshly baked cakes. Fiona is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast had so much choice, cooked to order, home baked bread..... Fiona was very kind and welcoming to my rescue dog. Taffy loved being on the farm and fell for one of the labs. With Fiona's family being as welcoming it felt as though I was part of the family. Thank you Fiona I've had a really relaxing holiday and we will definitely visit again . Tracey and Taffy

The room was modern and very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. A good shower. We had a balcony overlooking the caravan site. It was quiet. A few people sitting outside the bar that was under our room. no problem to us . Breakfast was good. quite a good choice too. We also had dinner in the lovely new bar and entertainment room. Again a good choice for dinner. All the staff were very friendly.

The single room I reserved was located on the top floor of the hotel, providing a compact yet comfortable space with a cosy bed for a good night's rest. While the car park is on the smaller side, I was able to find a spot. However, clearer signposting to the car park would enhance the overall guest experience and make parking more convenient. Guests can enjoy a delicious and freshly cooked breakfast at the hotel, setting a positive start to the day. Overall, my experience at the Yeo Dale Hotel was enjoyable, and I would not hesitate to book a stay here again when visiting Barnstaple.
