On a busy street but was surprisingly quiet which was fantastic considering the antics going on in the hotel. The hotel certainly has character and none of it endearing.
Handforth has a village feel. It's quite small but there are a couple of pubs and hotels. There are a few eateries, chippy, Italian and Indian. There is small shopping centre, The Paddock, with a limited selection of shops. The main A34 now bypasses Handforth and the airport is only a 10 minute drive away.

It had the twin rooms that we required.
It had the twin rooms that we required. Our rooms were next door to each other. Just a few minutes to airport. Nice and quiet. Rooms were adequately equipped for our needs. Clean and functional. Comfortable enough for our stay. Pleasant staff. Shop and reasonable restaurant (we had a carvery for dinner), within walking distance. We left too early in the morning to have breakfast at the hotel. If I was going to require a stay in the same area again, I would definitely be prepared to stay there. Having its own free car park was very useful too.

The hotel was easy to find and offered good parking, we stayed overnight to get an early flight and also found local facilities offering good food and drinks nearby. The locals we met were friendly and helpful, we did not stay long enough to see the town properly.

Very very poor overpriced food. Nothing cooked from fresh. The dishes we tried were absolutely shocking. This hotel really needs to employ a chef. Really poor breakfast too, so much so, two of the party didn’t bother for the rest of the stay.

close to the airport and good price, parking a bit tight but we got in. could do with a more prominent sign, we knew where it was as had stayed there before. beds and bedding fine everything was satisfactory
Very comfortable hotel within easy reach of the airport. Our Executive double room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom and huge comfy bed. Tea/coffee making facilities were included in the room.
The gardens are beautiful and as the weather was lovely we were able to spend some time enjoying the time outside. The staff everywhere were extremely friendly and helpful.
It was our second visit and we will certainly come back again next time we fly from Manchester.
Breakfast superb. Staff wonderful. Everything handy. A very good base for all things S Manchester and NW Derbyshire (Quarry Bank Mill, Lyme Park, Buxton). Handforth has a few good restaurants. Short walk to the busy Italian for our special anniversary meal which did not disappoint. We booked in a hurry so forgot our swimming kit to try out the off site leisure offer
If you are travelling by car, this is an ideal hotel for staying at if you need a hotel for the night prior to flying out of Manchester Airport. It is a very short distance from the airport without having the noise and bustle of being on top of the airport.
This hotel is comfortable, clean, and good value for the money. As a place to stay before flying out of Manchester airport, it met my needs. The best part was undoubtedly the large and comfortable garden in which I enjoyed a nice meal and a bottle of wine
Extremely likeable staff, very kind and super helpful with all my needs. Very flexible options available. Baggage storage and cab service were a true blessing. Close to the airport (10 minutes by car), and a train ride away from Manchester City centre.
The hotel is exceptionally good value for money. My room was great - the bed comfy and nice view onto the garden. The restaurant was nice and all the staff were very friendly.
Hotel used for one night stay re the Airport. Close enough for this when getting to the airport in the morning plus free parking on site. Good staff/food and rooms.
We chose this hotel because of the amenities available such as dining even late at night, the variety of items for breakfast, and the most welcoming of staff.
Rooms good size and clean.
Breakfast good value.
Special recognition for Abigal... great engagement and customer service.... a real credit to the hotel...
