I love this property and love the location as have stayed here many times both with work and leisure with family and friends the food is excellent and the bar and eating area have a great vibe the bedrooms are exceptionally clean and so comfortable with everything you need even little extras on the tray with chocolates nuts and crisps if you feel peckish it’s really quiet as it’s set back from the main road so you get a really good peaceful nights sleep.
Also the outside are and the decking around the property makes it a bit special to sit outside and the views over the lake are amazing - if you are visiting Surrey and need a base near to Guildford / Woking or surrounding areas this is the perfect location to stay at and I would 100% recommend booking in here.

Poppy was an incredible host - She was speedy in her communications and provided a lot of details on the self-checkin process, which I enjoyed as it gave us a lot of flexibility on arrival time. Everything was clear and simple. The apartment was modern, clean, and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was also located right at the heart of the town, and we were able to walk around easily.

Historic market town centre with castle and grounds plus several old buildings of historical interest around the town. It's also close to the Watts Gallery and chapel which are well worth a day's visit. There are pubs and walks along the riverside right on the edge of town.

I visited the Watts Gallery & Artists Village including Mary Watts chapel. It's near the village of Compton. Took bus No.46 from Bus Station (stand 5) leaving at 10:15am. The place opens at 10:30am and spent a great four hours there. Check out official website, especially if interested in 19th century English arts & crafts movement.
Guildford town centre has lots of alley ways off the very long High Street that were interesting to explore; varied restaurants, bars and shopping.

I was there for business, not as a tourist, so cannot comment in detail. The traffic can be very troublesome. The property where I stayed was outside the main town centre, which would cause me to choose it again.

Firstly, Guildford is a very busy little town, with a dual carriageway splitting the place in two. The cathedral is definitely worth a visit, stunning architecture and views of the surrounding area. Lots of choice for dining and drinking. If you like a trad pub with good choice of beer and live music, then try the Star on Quarry Street. Recommended.

Small town vibe.
Small town vibe. Very vibrant and l enjoyed the delicious cuisines. I don't like the fact that everything shuts down at 6pm even on a weekend.
The closing time should be looked into, especially on the weekends.

Bit tricky to find town centre.
Bit tricky to find town centre. Cobbled streets are lovely but not ideal for wheelchairs. Nice individual shops and eateries. The park and ride signage remains but is no longer running. Parked in York car park. The exit to town centre is on level 9 but no signage
welcoming of the receptionist the ambience of the hotel comfort and cleanliness quirky room which had wonderful views and is in easy distance of Guildford. Albeit spa was busy we did what we wanted to do and had a great chill out. This is our go to hotel in this area and price given the facilities and establishment well worth every penny. on this occasion we did not eat at the hotel
2 night stay, moved to Room 12 on second night, this was an excellent room and ideal, garden views, tastefully decorated and well equipped.
Hotel location, close to Guildford and Merrist Wood, set in lawned gardens with a beautiful lake.
Evening Meals on site, Breakfast good with excellent staff
Location and character of the building. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast available. Helpful staff.
I’ve stayed here several times and this is definitely the best hotel I’ve found in Guildford.
Great location for walking into Guildford. Reasonably priced buffet breakfast and friendly staff. We had requested a quiet room and the staff did allocate us a quieter room at the back of the hotel.
