Close to the town. Next to the river which was a nice view. Room was clean and decent size. Breakfast food was good and plenty of it.

    Everything was first class and Merryll was an excellent host...

    Everything was first class and Merryll was an excellent host and communicator. Walk up to Whinfell Beacon as recommended by host was excellent- fantastic views at the beacon was a great reward. We took a picnic to spend more time at the top to soak in the views in the sunshine.
