Large room with small but adequate unsuited. All a little dated and wouldn't score highly on "Four in a bed" for cleanliness, however it was "good enough"
Parking very limited and actually had to put our car in town carpark overnight, this was reasonably close by and only £8 for 24 hours.
Position of Gales is perfect for the town and the show ground.
We didn't stay for breakfast but we were given £6 vouchers towards breakfast if we had of done so.
The hotel is in Llangollen town centre, looking out over the River Dee. It mixes original character with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi, free parking and a riverside garden.

Very friendly host. Good location with parking. Lots of choice for breakfast. Very clean and easy to find.
Great cottage and location. Loved the welcome pack and the ease to get into the property on arrival day. Just off A5 so easy to get to other visitor areas in North or Mid Wales but far enough off that you feel away from everything if you want to be. Great walks from the cottage. Our dog Oscar loved it as well and the cottage is very dog friendly.
Loved our visit and cannot wait to go back as soon as possible
